What's up guys this is just a quick run down on if the genesis coupe is a reliable daily car. Sorry about the wind noise in advance looking into getting a mic for the go pro to try and cut out some of the wind. if you arent already subscribed to the channel smash and that subscribe button and dont forget to click the bell so you can stay up to date on the genesis and the other cars.

So I’m buying a 2.0 2011 driven only 121k miles. It’s salvage but it’s the door nothing huge, automatic as well. wanting to know is it reliable? The most I’m doing with the car is swerving few cars in freeways, doing pulls nothing crazy like donuts, drifts etc. I‘ll be driving it chill a lot of the time and it is my first car, I’m not really gonna beat the car up since it is daily as well just few pulls here and there nothing huge as I said. Is it worth buying? Also the only things I’ll be changing is things very small like tint windows, louder exhaust, small interior changes but absolutely nothing huge like change add anything to the engine or make it any faster. I just want something sport to drive daily to my job, school, gym etc and hang with friends Edit: I heard the car leaks a lot of water, I also heard when you take the car on a wash the water gets in through the tail light and when there’s water inside and it’s a hot day out it can ruin the tail lights. I also heard there is vibrating on steering wheel going 70 mph. Are these problems I’ll see from the way I’ll be driving it?
@RspecNick
@RspecNick 3 жыл бұрын
Yea if you do what your talking about with it it should last just keep up on maintenance. And yes the taillight gaskets like to leak alot and the vibration around 65-70mph does happen usually you can resolve it tho with a good vibration and balance

@@viper3758 I'm honestly scared to crash the genesis cause I know they get totaled out so fast. That would suck are you gonna get another one or just move onto another car.

@@huh645 doesnt sound to bad honestly I'd probably try to get them down to 7.5k tho cause bk2s you can find with lower miles for around 12k

@@huh645 honestly if it came down to it just wait it out and you could easily find a bk2 for like 2k more then what that lady wants and most times they have mods done to them so you could really make out on that deal. There was a boosted bk1 3.8 for sale last week for like 15k it was putting down like 460whp @8psi and it sounded mean
