I just got mine and have been using it for a few weeks as well! I was using the Herman Miller Vantum before that for close to a year. The Mavix M9 and an assortment of other chairs for a period of months before that. This is by far the best chair I've ever sat in. The adjustment options and support are amazing and my favorite feature is the armrests. The ability for them to move inward like they do gives me the perfect support for my arms whether I'm working from home, gaming on PC, gaming on PS5, or gaming on mobile. Excellent breakdown man.

So, do you have the issue that many seem to have with the chair being noisy? Also, if you don't mind sharing...what is your weight...I am 280+ lbs and that is a concern regarding the noise as some feel it is noisier with plus size weight...but some reviews show it noisier with lesser weight.

Can't say that I've ever run across your channel, but you covered a lot of things that NO other channel I've seen mentioning this chair seemed to give two proverbial shits about, and that, my sir, earned you a sub. I hope that you continue expanding and concerning yourself with the PROPER details. You mentioned that the chair's die cast aluminum. On that, are the supports for the back plastic where it meets the cyan, and since you're a bigger guy do you feel the screws that connect everything on the back? I'm concerned about the potential longevity issues of having the back supported by plastic materials. Also, any chance you could arrange some macro shots somewhere of the fabric? I'm curious to see how difficult it could be to get things like dead skin out of it with it being fabric.

@@CaimarSalizi I'm well aware of Herman Miller's attention to detail. I was mainly worried whether them contracting with Logitech meant that Logi had a chance to ruin it.. I've got a Reaction that's nearing over 20 years old at this point and it's still on ALL original parts and looks new despite daily use (It's basically the predecessor and more "business-centric" of the Aeron, but with an adjustable height back.) Their build quality is incomparable to nearly anything. I think the ONLY company that could even potentially stand up to them on potential would be Steelcase, and I only say that because of one of the desks I had them design. Granted, it was EXPENSIVE but I could stand on it with a keyboard, 3 tablets, a full RTX 2080 Super based PC in a full size chassis, and two monitors mounted to arms and it didn't even creak.

Sweet set up! 8:08. I know your monitor is huge so that’s why you’re a little further back, but if your arms were to be 90 degrees, would the arm rest hit the desk edge? I’m worried the lack of armrest depth adjustment won’t let me have proper 90 degree elbows. Great review!

Well. Thats a case of customization because if the seat is retracted, it changes things. But you will have no issues with a 90 degree elbow posture.

I’m really struggling to like mine. Seat is so uncomfortable, super thin layer of foam so the plastic mesh supports dig into my thighs; so painful. I can’t believe anyone finds the seat bearable. Mine was manufactured April 2024, so the latest model. On the plus side, mine doesn’t make any noise at all. I’m 185cm, 78kg.

Oh wow, that’s very surprising bro. Yes, this batch that was recently manufactured are not noisy at all. But mine is extremely comfortable and I don’t feel the plastic mesh. Sorry to hear about your experience though

you aren’t the only one, i returned mine after 2 months of constant seat pain and went to a SecretLabs titan and couldn’t be happier. Embody is an ergonomic chair. Not enough padding in seat tbh

Hey Dr. Who thats the weird thing, mine doesn’t make a single noise and im 220. I dnt know if its being manufactured somewhere else but if feels very sturdy. I even struggle to extend the seat forward. I’ll share a video of 1 year later, so stay tuned
