Jesus give me grace and endurance this Christmas. As a single mother my number one priority, are my sons. Both of them are autistic so they require a lot from me. God give me strength as I struggle to provide for them. My faith in you is still strong! Pastor Mark, I would like some clarification on Matthew 28:19, that you read at 33:15 in your video, the text that you put up on the screen was from the KJV. But when you quoted it you change the wording to “in the name of the Father and in the name of the Son and in the name of the Holy Spirit”, which is not how the text reads. As I look back in history according to Eusebius the original reading of Matthew 28:19 was as follows, “with one word and one voice He said to His disciples: Go, and make disciples of all nations in My name, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you,” this was changed in the 4th century during the time of the council of Nicaea. It was at that time that a number of new doctrines were brought into the church and the Roman Catholic was being established. It’s interesting that all Baptisms in the book of Act were done in the name of Jesus or of the Lord but not once in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. In your sermon you changed the wording to include “the name”, of in front of the Son and the Holy Spirit. I have to ask you if it wouldn’t serve your purpose better if you change Matthew 28:19 to read “in the name of God the Father and in the name of God the Son and in the name of God the Holy Spirit”, but in so doing we have violated scripture by adding to or taking away from God’s word. If you do that you could establish the Trinity Doctrine. I for one will not grieve the Holy Spirit of God and of Christ by giving it to another! Pastor, if you said the Holy Spirit is the voice if God, that speaks to us then how is the Holy Spirit is a separate person from the father?

Why does Mark Finley stand in front of a phoenix mural? And by doing so, what is he attempting to communicate? The phoenix bird symbolizes immortality, and life after death. In Egyptian religions it is associated with the sun god. How is it and why is it that a Christian preacher would have behind him an 'image of Idolatry'?

The Holy Spirit of God is God himself not some force… I have never heard a person argue that that Gods Holy Spirit is a force and that is not what the pioneers believed either … this is a gross misunderstanding or MISREPRESENTATION of the belief that the spirit of God is his own person!!! And it is not that hard to understand! He is misrepresenting- again as all those who don’t want to understand the spirit of God…. Pastor Mark Finely, I enjoy listening to your sermons, but I have to say that you left out the most important information which is found in the Bible, There is specific bible verses that addresses Pharisees accusing Jesus of performing miracles through the power of Satan and the warning about blasphemy against the Holy Spirit can be found in Matthew 12:22-32 (ESV): **Accusation by Pharisees:** Matthew 12:22-24: "Then a demon-oppressed man who was blind and mute was brought to him, and he healed him, so that the man spoke and saw. And all the people were amazed, and said, 'Can this be the Son of David?' But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, 'It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this man casts out demons.'" **Jesus' Response and Warning:** Matthew 12:25-32: "Knowing their thoughts, he said to them, 'Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand. And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?...But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you... Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.'" These passages emphasize the seriousness of attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to evil forces and the associated warning against blasphemy.

NO! The CUP was NOT all the physical and emotional suffering which awaited Jesus! It was not the beating and turning away of his people and his mother and the crown of thorns... none of all these! Many martyrs endured ALL of these and did not ask this cup of suffering be removed from them! For Jesus, the CUP was the bearing of the SINS of the whole world! He was to be separated from His Father because of that CUP bringing the real death to him, not just the sleep of the first death ... and THAT was unbearable to him! But Jesus said ... I will drink it nevertheless, because THY will be done, O Father! But praise be to God! The Innocent one could not be held by death! The sins were not his, they could not be held against Him ... They stayed at the entrance of death and could not retain him under its power! God, the Father, the only true God RAISED his beloved, innocent, self-sacrificed Son! What a disgrace. He damn well knows the truth. Even the RCC does not bother with defending Trinity doctrine which is the foundation of their beliefs and simply call it a mystery because it's completely unbiblical and utter nonsense. Revelations couldn't be any clearer when it reveals which beings are worshiped in heaven on God's throne. There is God the Father, and Jesus the Son of God. Period. To attribute God's and Christ's mighty Spirit to an unknown false god is the sin. Jesus is the way the truth and the LIFE. Why would we then need another? He sent his spirit to us after he returned to heaven. Only Christ can mediate only Christ can comfort only Christ can give life.

Min 35:14 - Pr. Mark reffers to the Holy Spirit as "it". Yet he emphasised that the Spirit is a person because he is called "he" mor ethan 10 times in John 16. Yet the Pr. Is correct when calles the Spirit "it". For in Romans 8:16, 8:26 we find epression like " The Spirit ITSELF ". and 1 Pet 1:11 says "it" too referring to the Spirit. Desire of Ages that he's read in Page 805.3 also says "it" about H.S. And the author of the book repeats that countless times including her other best seller book The Great Controversy . If you keep referring to the H.S as an "it" its because youve read your bible. You see if you just read your bible without being aware of this trinitarian Controversy you'll just find your using "it" for the HS effortlessly, without thinking much about it and without feeling that its wrong. Truth is you can use both "He" and "it" for the the Holy Spirit. Both are Biblical. Question is can you call the Father or the Son it? If not then there muat be something different about the Holy Spirit's personality. Thnk about it.

SDAs may not be aware that the official written statement of the Adventist church claims that 'Jesus is NOT the natural, literal Son of God,' per the Bible Research Institute. Why? Because if you believe in the trinity doctrine, it also claims that Christ, the Son of God was never begotten from God the Father. The gospel is plain simple and literal. But the Pharisees of this day have twisted truth a child can understand using human philosophy and their own satanic doctrine. If you think how Christians vehemently defend the literal creation by God of man and woman when it comes to society's debate of human identity, yet fail to stand on the simple Bible truth of God, Jesus' God and Father, sent Christ to save us. Where is the love and power of the Gospel if it is all role-playing and metaphors?

Dear Pastor Mark, The Lord used you many years ago to bring me to Christ. My life has been forever changed and I am grateful for that. As I watched your video I came away very saddened. It seemed to me that the main take away is that if someone does not believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person that makes up the one God, if they believe that the Holy Spirit is anything other than that, and if they don’t give up that belief and repent and accept the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Godhead (Trinity), that eventually they will grieve away the Holy Spirit and commit the unpardonable sin. This is a serious position to take. This leads to condemnation and ultimately judging ones salvation. Also, it appears that you have a misunderstanding of what the vast majority of those who don’t believe that the Holy Spirit is a person separate from the Father and Son, really believe. The the Holy Spirit is just what the Bible says the “Spirit of God” not a force. My husband and I were disfellowshiped and shunned over this doctrine not because of anything we had done, but because of fear of what we might say or do. My husband and I are of the older generation and was not baptized when the church believed God was a Trinity. We were not taught that God is a Trinity as it was long before 1981 when the churches fundamental belief was changed and officially voted in at the GC session. I thank you for the years of dedication in bringing souls to Christ. Now I ask that you prayerfully inquire of God if your message in that video was according to His will. Entire book of Revelations clearly show Jesus speaking and acting as the Spirit to the church is including laodicea our church. He is the Holy Spirit. John's vision shows there are only two thrones in heaven which all fhe universe bows down to. It is Satan trying to inject himself into the Godhead via the pagan unknown 3rd god. THE SECOND COMMANDMENT, THE TRINITY AND THE OMNIPRESENCE OF GOD I always wondered what was so significant about the second Commandment that Rome found it necessary to remove it altogether from the Ten Commandments. But it appears that there is a fundamental truth in that Commandment concerning where God's presence is that is intended to protect us from all forms of false worship. The second Commandment tells us that we should not bow down before any image. This implies that God is not in the image. Which means that God is not everywhere. The Bible tells us that God is in heaven; and heaven is not everywhere. Heaven is above the earth and that is where we should direct our worship to God, where He is. He knows everything that happens everywhere and can go wherever He pleases but His abode is in heaven where Jesus, our High Priest and intercessor, is presenting our cases to Him. - "Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens" (Heb. 8:1). Furthermore, both the prophets Daniel and John saw God in heaven with the angels gathered around His throne and Jesus being separate and distinct (Dan. 7 and Rev. 4, 5). Daniel said "the Ancient of days did sit" (Dan. 7:9) and "one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days" (Dan. 7:13). John said "one sat on the throne" (Rev. 4:2) who was worshipped as the Creator to whom it was said "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created" (Rev. 4:11), with Jesus appearing before Him to receive a book and power and authority, as the Lamb who was slain, and the angels sang, "Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever." (Rev. 5:13). God is not everywhere all at once like a vapour while part of Him or an image sits on the throne representing Him. God Himself sits, of whom man was made in His image after His likeness, "made after the similitude of God" (James 3:9). Logically, if God is everywhere, He can be worshipped wherever He is. One could then bow down and worship before a stone, a tree, a person or any object, not as worshipping the object but as worshipping God, since God is in it. That would open the door for the worship of false Gods as no one would be able to tell the difference whether you are worshipping the true God or not. It would not be consistent to forbid worshipping before an object if God is in the object and one is worshipping, not the object, but God who is in the object. This is evident in the experience of the children of Israel in the wilderness. God appeared to them in a cloud and they were not forbidden to bow before Him in the cloud - "And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud" (Ex. 19:9), "And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door" (Ex. 33:10). If God is not in a particular place, say in an image, it means that there is at least one place where He is not. He cannot be everywhere and not everywhere at the same time. The idea that the Holy Spirit is God present everywhere was precisely the argument that Dr. John Harvey Kellogg put forward to justify his pantheistic teachings. And Ellen White told him that he was wrong. Initially, he said that God was in everything. And when God instructed Ellen White to oppose it, he modified it by saying that at the time of his first presentation of the matter in the book "The Living Temple" he did not believe in the Trinity. Because of that, he said he had not given a clear explanation of the matter. He went on to explain that he had now come to believe in the Trinity and could better explain his idea. The new explanation was that it was not God the Father, but God the Holy Ghost who was everywhere and in everything. Ellen White told him that he was wrong. And we can see why. If God the Holy Spirit is everywhere and can be worshipped, it is a doorway to replace worshipping God and Christ in heaven entirely. Another modified version of Kellogg's idea is that the Holy Spirit is really Christ himself or both God and Christ in an omnipresent form. This is also not correct as it places God and Christ on earth rather than in heaven. The pioneers of Seventh-day Adventism stated in their Fundamental Principles of faith published in the 1889 Yearbook that God was everywhere present by His representative, the Holy Spirit. At face value, this would suggest that this representative is omnipresent. It is perhaps more consistent with scripture to say that He is everywhere present by His representatives the holy spirits. Holy spirits are ministering spirits sent from heaven - "And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man." (John1:51). "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (Heb. 1:14). This is consistent with the Hebrew word ruach and the Greek word pneuma that are translated in the Bible as spirit. These words are also translated spirits, thus indicating that the Holy Spirit need not be seen as one individual being who is omnipresent but many spirit beings representing God everywhere. From this perspective, there is no denying that the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, sent at Pentecost is a person - only not a God-being to be worshipped. Like the Angel of Revelation 18 who comes down from heaven with the latter rain - a similar occurrence as that which took place at Pentecost except more extensive - the Comforter would be seen as a messenger sent by Christ from heaven, as stated repeatedly in John 14-16. Ellen G. White describing the latter rain speaks of a mighty angel from heaven being sent to do this work and further said, "Angels were sent to aid the mighty angel from heaven" (Ellen. G. White, Story of Redemption, p. 399). So, there we have it. The church has now fully accepted Kellogg's idea. Ellen White said that the initial presentation by Kellogg was the alpha of deadly heresies. She said that the omega would follow shortly afterwards and would be accepted. And it did follow shortly afterwards in Kellogg's modified version, based on his acceptance of the Trinity. And the church has now fully accepted it - that God (the Holy Spirit) is everywhere and should be worshipped. So, based on current practice, Jesus is worshipped, the Holy Spirit is worshipped but the One true God is almost entirely ignored. Jesus made it clear who the "only true God" is and identified Himself as the Son of God - "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (John 17:3). Nowhere in the Bible is worship given to anyone else except the one seated on the throne who is referred to as "LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come" (Rev.4:8) and to the Christ, the Lamb, as it will be in the new earth - "And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it." (Rev. 21:22). God is the Father of Christ. Accordingly, Christ, the Lamb is seen with "an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads" (Rev. 14:1). It is the name of the Lamb's Father that will be written in their foreheads. Whatever one's concept of the Godhead, the term "godhead" is used only three times in the Bible (Acts 17:29, Rom. 1:20 and Col. 2:9) and in none of these places is the expression used to replace the idea of God being a single individual who has a Divine Son who is worshipped alongside Himself. And not even once does the term "godhead" in scripture allude to the worship of anyone else. All worship should be directed to God and Christ in heaven. It is not about where we are when we worship but, like sending a petition to the king of England, we do not send it to Spain or Australia but to him in England where he is. Similarly, Jesus in teaching us how to pray directed that we say, "Our Father which art in heaven". We should not be praying to nor worshipping anything on earth. We should pray to God in heaven, approaching His throne through Christ, our Mediator, and we should direct our worship to heaven where God is. This is the substance of the second Commandment that Rome has removed.

This is how they attempt to harmonize 1 Corinthians 8:6 with their Trinity dogma, for it says: "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." However, a comparison of Matthew 22:32 with Romans 14:9 should lay to rest any notion of God = Lord. Consider the evidence for yourselves. "I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living." (Matthew 22:32) "For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living." (Romans 14:9) God is not the God of the dead, but Christ is Lord of the dead. The Bible teaches plainly that there is a distinction between these terms, and they are not the same being. (Remember, Ellen White says "God is a being."). In fact, the "and" in Greek ("kai"), can be used to separate between two separate entities, as it does in 1 Corinthians 8:6. Had the writer wished to equate them, a separate, more poetic conjunction, could have been used or added, which is "te" in Greek. Putting the two words together, i.e. "τε καὶ", creates an expression which places the two things on a level with each other--and this is often translated as "both." But the Father is not _both_ our God and our Lord, nor is Jesus _both_ our Lord and our God. The father is "the only true God" (John 17:3), and Jesus is our Lord.

Even though I grew up SDA this was a very enlightening sermon!

The unpardonable sin is simply unbelief. Salvation is free, He died for us while we were still yet sinners. No good works we do and accumulate, nor any sin we commit makes us worthy, "so no man can boast" We are cursed and in a fallen state. It is only the work of the cross and believing in Jesus is what grants salvation.. Amazing grace. If you refuse to believe and accept Gods Holy sacrifice then you are dead already.. "No man is good. ALL have fallen short of the glory of God" It is His work that saves, not ours.

The Spirit is sometimes called an "it". This is because it is God Himself, howbeit in action. God is no trinity of Persons. This man is deceived on the topic.

God and Jesus are ONE in Spirit

You already know he's lying when he misrepresents and lies about the correct BIBLICAL view and beliefs of those he's opposing. Just the fact that the Holy Spirit is of God and Christ makes the Spirit all powerful. Not a nameless god. It is the unpardonable sin because if you knowingly reject truth in the Bible that the Spirit is from God and even EG White states that Christ Is the Holy Spirit, then how can Christ save you?

Who would be the four highest beings in Heaven before the fall of man (before sin) if the Holy Spirit was a third co-equal being as per the Trinity doctrine? It would be the Father, Son, Holy Spirit and Lucifer. Who is it that wants to be like the most High and be worshipped and prayed to as God? (Isaiah 14:12-14) What if the Holy Spirit was not a third literal being. Who would then be the third highest being? Lucifer! So if the Holy Spirit is not a third literal being, a separate God, then who would be answering our prayers if we prayed to the “Spirit”? Who would be setting himself up as a third “God” worthy of praise and worship? Has Satan succeeded in accomplishing his goal of being included as a deity? If we now believe the Holy Spirit can be worshipped and prayed to just like the Father and the Son, who actually receives our worship? If the Holy Spirit is not a third being then whose spirit would we have according to our belief and who would we be giving our adoration to? For Adventists: Before sin - “Among the inhabitants of heaven, Satan, next to Christ, was at one time most honored of God, and highest in power and glory.” - (E.G. Have you ever wonder.... The verse of matthew 12:32 appear in Mark 3:29 Luke 12:10. Same words but different occasions...seem someone had programs these words in the mouth of Jesus saying. Deep research shows that some body who ever wrote these Gospels (since we know scholarly that the four gospels were anonymous unless you are catholic you have to believe these were written by the name given in these these gospels) seem to borrow these words and just program it in different occasion.
