The IMF helps countries reform their economies and develop. It allocates the funds necessary for countries, but by assessing the existing problems, it provides binding requirements to overcome these problems and improve the situation in the future. The idea is that the country will later restart its economy and be able to repay the loan, not need money, but develop and take its place in the global community. However, some politicians form a negative image of the Fund: it appears to be too demanding, imposing many conditions that require changes in tax policy, destruction of banks, and cuts in spending on schools, hospitals, and more.
