I really like all the redesigns they have done with all the line ups.

I like the redesign but wish they would have added ventilated seats, heated steering wheel and a 360 camera on the top trim. Also wish they would have kept the magma red seat option. Not crazy about the toggle shifter, the one from the A4 would have been better.

Now look at this one!!! Audi knows a thing or two about design and performance!!! Nose to tail it's it's looker and this blue is absolutely stunning!!! Excellent review Joe, professional and precise camerawork, Lori!!! Y'all are the team that simply can't be beat!!!

Wish we got the Sportback models of these. The A3 sport back is kinda like an AWD GTI.

Audi knows how to make sexy cars. They know how to make sports cars especially in their rs lineup. I also love what they do with their sequential turn signals from the front and back

I had an A3 back in 2018 and I loved the previous interior, it was minimal and the screen hiding when the car was off was one of my favorite features. Sad to see it go; still a beautiful car.

Audi has a way of making their 4-bangers sound great. I drove a TTS for 3 years and it sounded deep and throaty like a 5 or 8cyl.

That screen input lag is insane. The processing power must come from the dial up ages.

Get the 2022 VW R Hatch. More fun, more performance and less money. Basically same powertrain.

In most countries outside North America, you can get the S3 and the upcoming RS3 as an hatchback, but a sedan is also available.

Love the size of this compact beauty.

Hey Joe and Lori, I been looking at the Audi A3 and the redesign has been looking nice, but if you had to choose what sedan would you get in this category like: Mercedes Benz a class or the CLA, BMW 2 series grand coupe or 3 series, or the Cadillac (obviously there is more vehicles in this category). Edit: I think its funny that (some) Mercedes and Audi's have bigger grills but they manage it better

I have a 2019. My dealer never even got the 2021s3. Never had one on the lot. It’s a sick ride. It’s a mini rocket when you pop it into dynamic mode.

As much as I love just about everything Audi manufactures nowadays (and as an Audi owner myself), I gotta major zonk the new "shifters" in these cars. I really prefer having a prominent shifter, either the rounded or squared types from previous models. I honestly think the new shifter style alone would prevent me from buying the car.

Why do several car manufacturers need to reinvent the gear shift? I don’t want a dial or a 1” toggle switch to put it in gear. I want a nice meaty gear selector that I can put my hand on. On my Audi S4 I still had a thick gear selector, it only moved about 1 inch, so it freed up a lot of space but still made it feel like a proper car. Quit trying to neuter the driving experience!

Great review. Nice car... my local DC area dealer "market adjustment" added another $12k to the sticker pushing the out-the-door price to almost $70k. RS3 territory at that price... I'm waiting for the Golf R

Hi Joe nice review. I am from England, and I have the sportback model which you don't get. The sound pumped into the cabin is from the RS3. They have improved the handling and the chassis, from the previous model. But I am sad to say that due to diesel gate. VW. They have done major cost cutting, too the intererior, look at the quality of the previous Gen🤔

Just ordered an S3 turbo blue will be a long wait but far worth it.

Great review! Love this vehicle. Nice steering wheel and new infotainment system. Impressed with the mechanics. This is one sedan that should never be discontinued. I love small fast well equipped cars. However I notice that Audi, Lexus, and Acura a very stingy with adding things that should be standard in their vehicles. The 2022 Kia Forte GT has ventilated seats for under 26k for crying out loud. This trim and vehicle should have ventilated seats and a heated wheel. Heated wheels are a must from mid trim to upper trims! Other than that I like this vehicle. The quilted leather looks amazing. This was informative, thank you, and great camera work as well! Great job guys! 🥳🥳🥳

No way a 300hp S3 can beat the 472hp CT4-V blackwing but maybe the RS3 would be a better competitor though, RS5 definitely can 👍

The S3 is not "rear wheel drive based." Unlike the S4, it uses a transverse mounted engine and is *front wheel drive based,* using the Haldex all-wheel-drive system.

I see a few details that hark back to my B2 Quattro, specifically the shape of the instrument binnacle. And the three tiny slots at the bottom of the front edge of the hood evoke the B2 Sport Quattro. Very nice unit, but I would have to have the 5 cylinder. Thanks for the video sir. Cheers.
