Great review! The positioning of the side door name badges are definitely odd! Love Chevy’s but still not sold on it being comparable to Acura, more so the mdx which I’ve never been in love with; very odd they still don’t have a touch screen, like they’re trying to create a new trend of people preferring the dial to navigate. I’d say this is more comparable to the RDX.

Man. I have lots of love for The Chevy. My dad's 2001 Trailblazer LT is still alive and well (mostly because he worked so close to home) . Only 124K (KM) on the odometer. But this vs the MDX. Lol. Probably need to target the RDX, or Passport.

What I love about this Chevrolet blazer is the redesign and the front of the car looks like something from transformer’s absolutely stunning suv car

i thought the Blazer refresh was the 2023? slight redesign on the front grill and slimmer daytime running lights, similar backlights to the refreshed equinox and a 10in infotainment system?

I give you credit for the video title and comparison to Acura MDX it got me to watch but let’s be serious as others have said I think a comparison to a Santa Fe or a Sorrento or Escape. MSRP is nuts for this and has been since it came out.

I have a Blazer in this trim and I'm very satisfied.

Thé Blazer has always been a good suv. My brother had a 99 for his second or third vehicle and that lasted for 3-4 years before he decided to trade it in.

Joe, I’m looking for the trifecta. Wireless CarPlay, touchscreen, and a rotary control knob down low like BMW so you don’t have to always reach for the screen. I think this falls short. Nice car otherwise!

Blazer Looks like a decent value, and love the touch screen, which I hope Acura eventually implements. But the exterior of the MDX looks way better in my opinion.

The MDX is a no brainer. It will outlive 3 of these blazers. Acura also has more prestige to their name and better resale value.

my 2019 blazer looks just like this all that changed is that 2022 premier comes with a few different gadgets but they added more chrome which i hate i will soon do a complete chrome delete on my blazer

The engine is a 3.6 but I see that you put it in the description so you just made a mistake in your video.No biggie,tbh I love it but I think the mdx looks sharper.The blazer looks blend but overall still great.

The updates make it look very nice. Still think it's about 3 grand too expensive though. It's made in Mexico so GM can afford to discount them. Whether or not you can get a good price at the dealer would be the deciding factor for me. Otherwise, I'd go for something else in it's price range. Such as a loaded up Acura RDX or Infiniti QX50. Or a base BMW X3, base Acura RDX, or base Audio Q5. There is also a fully loaded Mazda CX9 for the same price. GM defiantly needs to add more. Such as, a bigger screen, digital gauge cluster and led ambient lighting or discount the Blazer to compete with the others mentioned.

As an chevrolet fan of the 60's up to the newer models. But This brand-new 22' chevrolet blazer is definitely my choice to buy over it's competition. But fantastic review joe.

I think the comparison to the Acura brand and MDX is completely off… quality of materials, driving quality, suspension, handling, car reliability and so much more. Very sad that the prices are as close as they are. I think it would have been better to compare this to a Kia Sorento or something Tahoe is the only Chevy I would buy.

I’m disappointed that Chevy didn’t make the Blazer an off roader again but they could bring the Trailblazer back as an off roader… oh wait Great video as always!

Joe, I don't see this in the MDX category but more Hyundai Sante Fe. The MDX interior and styling blows this away in my opinion.

I think the blazer RS and Premier trims with the bigger wheels is the nicest way to own this vehicle otherwise it looks terribly disproportionate. My neighbor has an RS with the 21’s and it’s really the nicest looking car on the street. However in the long run the MDX with the 3.5 will probably be a superior vehicle in the long haul.

The Blazer's true competition is Ford’s Escape and Bronco Sport:a fiesty little daily runabout for growing families. But I wouldn't give up on Chevrolet not building its own off-road variant of the (Trail)Blazer just yet,especially if the Bronco and Jeeps gain more traction,no pun intended.
