Man the hood on the SRT really makes it complete in terms of looks. "the wife and husband are both happy" is exactly what happened when we were looking at V6 Durangos last year and she test drove the RT and was loving it. Probably the best possible transition from my GTO to this.

MultiPurposeReviewer which gen do you think got lame? I suppose 3rd gen (2011) is when it was at risk of becoming just another midsize crossover, but the RT and SRT models saved it from that.

The original one was an awesome off-road truck. The second generation looked hideous and looked more like a minivan than anything else, and the current generation is just a kid hauler, with a AWD system that has no adjustable setting whatsoever. I do agree that the SRT has made it cool again, though.

Oh man I've wanted to see a srt Durango hit production since they still had the 6.1. Please do a video of the 2017 f250 with the 6.2 vs the ram 2500 with the 6.4. Really sparked my interest when y'all ran the 6.2 raptor vs the f250

On TFL Truck they have been doing a series on the F250 6.2 vs. the Ram 2500 6.4. Sure they're base models but they still have the videos. And as a spoiler, the Aluminum body does save enough weight to make a difference.

FCA has absolutely no reason to sell the Durango. It is literally a Jeep Grand Cherokee; back in the day it made sense because the jeep was unibody and the Durango was body on frame. That’s not the case anymore.

Roman, you didn't seem impressed with the power when you goosed it. A bit disappointed to say the least. I figured 12.9 quarter was a stretch, the lighter srt grand cherokee doesn't run that, but I was hoping for more excitement.

I have the 2017 GT and it’s plenty fast enough in sport mode. If I want to go faster I take the corvette out. That said the GT is fast enough for one to loose their insurance and license. But if I wanted a faster SUV I would get the new Alfa SUV.
