Platinum Auto Glass & Window Like Carlos said, too much product definitely causes it to streak. A THICK, dry microfiber towel totally eliminates streaking. I use The Rag Company’s Eagle Edgeless 600gsm towel for spray waxes and sealers. Even the king of streakiness (Optimum Spray Wax) isn’t streaky with that towel.

I literally threw out the Super Hard Shell paste wax even though it’s by TW. Why bother with buffing, white spots on rubber, and waiting for the Super hard shell to haze up when there is a superior product in Ice Spray wax?

We are working on a couple products. A spray SiO2 and Teflon infused acrylic polymer, a spray ceramic with higher SiO2 levels than NexGen, and 2 different full ceramic/graphene coatings....both contain graphene but one is a heavier concentration. Both apply very easy and remove even easier. We're very proud and excited to release them very soon.

@@blackrhinocarcare1087 meguairs since the Early 90s has said beading is not a good sign for your paint and sheeting is. Customers didn't car so they went the bead route like the customers wanted and everyone else followed. Now more companies are coming out with sheeting coatings and people are not used to it. The graphene, we used it a lot in the military and it's great for electrical aspects but it's use I coatings for cars seems negligible. It's great that we are moving towards more technologies but this seems like a hype word. I tend to follow the big names on the business and less then 10% of them are pushing it as much as the boutique shops.

Most streaking problems come from over applying. One spray per panel or so is all you need, sprayed into the towel/pad not directly on the surface.... but many of these new style spray sealants are much heavier than regular QEDs, they don't always wipe effortlessly clean.. a damp microfiber should take care of the occasional streaks.. 👍👌✌

@@autodetailingpodcast at retail it now seems to be - don't know why. I see it on line. As a synthetic I find it to be very durable and lays down a wicked shine. Seems as though TW has lost focus with it which i find a bit odd considering their resurgence and certainly the popularity of the ICE brand. My other thought is with the popularity of sprays perhaps paste waxes have taken a bit of a hit. Anyways...if u come across it give it a shot. Keep up the good work man.

A lot of companies are having a hard time getting products, like bottles and spray heads. Since Turtle Wax doesn't make the sprayer, it's possible they went with a new head if it was easier to get than the old.

I've had a bottle of that TW for over a year with the "covid" sprayhead.

You've had a bottle of the new formula TW with the old style spray head for over a year? That's amazing, considering it hasn't been out for a year. Gold star to you!

Should have clarified, the "new" bottle, label (minus "Improved Formula"), and "covid" spray head have been out for about a year.

I totally agree with you bud. I have been asking for a high pH shampoo to be used through a high pressure washer. And see how it holds up in the real world! Sometimes older guys like me have mobility issues and occasionally have to take the BMW to the local car wash.! Crazy right. But I do not let them blast my car with their shampoo. I take my 2 buckets and Meguiars Gold Class and wash mitt. 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
