When it comes to the library of games, I’m torn because other consoles have great libraries too. But when it comes to the hybrid nature, you literally can’t beat it. Having the option to be docked or handheld makes it the best console imo

It's so hard to beat Gamecube in my mind, but I think yes because of the handheld mode. Also 10/10 for having the voiceover "loop" back to the beginning of the short

The switch is a great console, but its portability makes it a bit underpowered. The main draw is it’s games, but as a primarily pc gamer myself the only exclusive I’d want to play there is botw. Any other games I’d like are severely downgraded ports of a pc version. Botw also released on the much easier to emulate Wii U, which I *definitely* do not do. The 3ds fills the portability niche much better for me, being small enough to fit into my bag or even pocket, while still having good looking games which look far better with the 3d screen. Not to mention it is incredibly easy to mod and pirat-*”high risk trade”* games for.

From a developer side its pretty clever. It hasn't got very good hardware but they can trick its uses by doing little tricks. Everything is cut down but unnoticed by the naked eye.

Yup. My only gripe is that you have to pay for the online and can’t download/own games like on previous consoles

There’s like over 11000 games no other console competes not to mention the tech is kind of up to date not very strong hardware but you can take it everywhere you go so that makes up for it !

WiiU has what the Switch needs and the original games of the ports or the game before the sequel in a series.

Nostalgia aside i think it is. I mean I can play dark souls / animal crossing / story of seasons and Skyrim all on one console in the palm of my hand that alone makes it reign supreme to me.

Probably because you can play it anywhere. Ps5 might have better games and power, but having to play the console anywhere is a big plus for me.

BOTW, Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros makes it not only 6je best Nintendo console but best console ever. Not even including you can play it handheld

People say the switch is bad but you cannot take your Playstation on the plane, play it, and go to your grandma's house to play on the tv

The switch is probably the best console though 3ds ties as my favorite because I love portables and you can play DS cartridges and the virtual console is better. New horizons is not the best unless you just care about decorating. New leaf on 3ds is the best in my opinion because the villagers had more personality. There was also more variety in things you can do in multiplayer and alone.

I honestly think the switch is maybe the worst nintendo console. Most of the exclusives are just wii u ports or unfinished or heavily floored games, not to mention joy con drift and having to pay for the terrible online service.

Think the switch has beautiful and great games, but the console otself is trash, I wish it had more personality like the wii u, wii and so one. Everything is blend with no music and simpel looking. Mii maker is boring, e shop is laggy. Dont get me wrong, I love the switch but I think nintendo could do better with the console menus IMO.
