The place is called mt. Samat. But the cross itself is "Dambana ng Kagitingan" or "Shrine of Valor" in Bataan. I am from Bataan so I know it.

when i was a kid everytime we, my childhood friends saw a foreigners we do like say “Hi kuyaaa (big brother) or hello ateee (big sister)” then giving them this kind of respect like grabbing their hand and put our forehead at the back of their palm..(yeah only filipinos do that) we always do that especially to our lolas and lolos (grandfathers and grandmothers) to give sooo much respect and smile to them or sometimes kiss at their cheeks or wave our hands with a smile..a big! smile actually.. i know every 90’s filipinos here reading this can relate hehe i miss that. hope this virus will end. stay home!! stay safe.. you two are so cute..everytime you wanna go here in the philippines you guys are welcome always! FEEL AT HOME ☺️

One of the things that make us Filipinos unique amongst most others is that we are family-oriented, spirit-filled, and contented. And yes, I'm speaking for the majority. We were brought up with values that separates us from material desires. That's why when someone from outside the Philippines wants to visit our country, we always want to show them the best of ourselves and that we CAN be happy and contented with what we already have. I love you, Vanessa and Fernando. You are more than a Filipino. I am a Filipina who is now a Thai citizen, but I am still a Filipino by heart and mind, though I love Thailand my second country. I am so happy that your fondness of the Philippines will open the eyes of some Filipinos who do not love the Philippines. I won't mention names but they are celebrities. God bless you both.
