Absolutely worth it, i just turn it on walk around for an hour or so and i catch about 100 mons with out even looking a my phone while i shop, on my way to run errands , ect… i get around 5 shinies and 1 hundo a week

@@timzusa not at all, just connect it, and leave the app in the backround, turn the screen off and start doing your daily activities, it does need to be reconnected every hour or so, and you’ll start making so much progress while just doing your daily. I usually rack up 250 - 500 or so mons

@@timzusabackground is anything where Pokémon go isn’t the main thing on screen. If the phone is sleeping or you’re on Instagram it would work.

I got it for my parents who are both in their 60s and they absolutely love it, especially the auto spin feature for pokestops. They get a shiny at least once a week that they didnt even catch themselves so its definitely worth it🎉

It’s good for while you’re at work if you have gyms or stops around. I average around 700 regular, 600 great balls and about 300 ultra balls for the 4 days I work. Plus the pokemon it catches. Leaves me with more than enough pokeballs for the weekend for while I’m out catching. I never have to buy any.

i’ll say what every creator forgets to say don’t buy it unless you have a big to medium pokémon storage bc you don’t get a notification when it’s full and you won’t catch anything without you knowing

That is possibly the only reason aside from being burnt out, that I don't really want one. ...I sorta feel like most, if not all of my playtime, if I do buy it, might end up being used only for appraising, transferring and mass evolving stuff... Honestly doesn't feel like much of a game if im not actually playing it.... Instead, "playing" the Pokemon menu.

@@Light1090Yeah I mostly agree they can be handy though if out and about and not able to use your phone. You might be on a bike ride or with family etc you can get items if need without being rude on phone that’s where I’ve sort of found it beneficial

Actually you do. You have to turn your notifications on for Pokémon go in your phone settings. It will tell you when you run out of pokeballs too

There’s also an exploit with it if you turn it on and riding in a car, Pokémon will still spawn and you can still catch them

It's good but you need to open it and solder off the red wire from the vibrating motor. It's waaaay to strong and annoying.

@@SindreEide93Instead of doing that used a dremel to shave off some element to reduce vibrations and used white paint to coat the leds to reduce brightness for night time playing, made it soooooo much better

It does shut off sleep tracking at midnight I've heard though. Is that still an issue? I got it yesterday and while I don't mind since I fall asleep around then usually anyway, it's an issue for others.

I’m not sure if I’m doing anything wrong but my Pokémon go plus plus does not use the great balls or ultraballs. I checked settings and it is set to use them but it refuses to and instead uses my pokeballs. Do you have any idea on how to fix this?

I turn off the Pokémon catching and when I drive places I get a ton of stops, but the lack of turning off vibration is borderline ignorant. $50 is also way too much.

I’ve had no issues with mine. As someone who makes Pokémon content I try to stray away from breaking ToS so I’ve never used an off brand auto catcher

Eh, not really. The question is when it works. Things seem to have gotten better recently but sleep mode is a problem. Most of the time it either records 1hr or 3hrs then stops counting because my bed is "too flat of a surface".

You have to leave the app running. It doesn’t have to be open on your phone, but it needs to be running in the background

If you do have a switch I still would recomend the pokeball plus, because you can take your pokemons to lvl up and also use it as a controller

It’s stay connected until it dies but even then it also shows your battery percentage on the pokeball + icon if you live near a area where there’s an active Pokémon stop like i do i leave my app running in the back the pokeball + and i let it catch Pokémon also disabled the auto catch feature so it can use great and ultra balls to increase catch accuracy hope this helps

Everyone is always bringing up the price point of $55 being the turn off from purchase this/ these peripherals. I got mine for $25 on launch day by shopping at a store where I was able to use a discount and points earned from past purchases to take more than half the cost off despite fully planning to pay full for the device. Since then I have caught a number of random shinies and some hundos using said device, The initial price point is pretty steep, but the real issue is getting one before they sell out everywhere (if they haven’t already) especially if Pokémon Go is your primary Pokémon game and you’re constantly playing it to the point of doing pretty much all events.

@KneeckohGaming I am referring to pokemon go plus plus device. It gives you option for great and ultra auto catching. I deleted all my red poke balls using only the great and ultra. The device catches the pokemon using the great balls. It just doesn't register it for my task

No its not worth it if you have the ability to solder, coz you can literally use the regular pokemon go plus and solder it to automatically catch stuff like i did, way cheaper and the pokemon go plus is much smaller which i definitely prefer to the pokemon go plus ball thing

I like the idea of not having to play to catch pokemon but then whats the point? The battle system is trash and pokemon go isnt that fun. Catching pokemon doesnt mean shit if they are worthless. If they had unlimited transfers to home it would be more valuable

Not at all. More pay for extra. This is actually much worse than grinding on your phone manually cause it only throws one pokeball before a pokemon runs away
