I agree that chart patterns are relevant in trading. Context is important when considering what pattern to use. Price action relative to what? Where is it most likely to go? What patterns are playing out that support my thesis? in other words, what's your forecast based on the data available (using your system)? I don't use flag patterns, that's not to say that they are useless entirely. They are useless to me because I use ChoCh/Liquidity/Market Structure rules that make sense to me (most importantly, rules that I can stick to). A carpenter and a car mechanic will choose to see the solution differently than the other. Choose a way to see the markets and stick with it is my psychology in this phase of my journey. All of the cliche answers that mentors on youtube speak about are true. They are reoccurring topics for a reason. Such topics as find what makes sense to you and stick with it, experience is the holy grail in trading, conquer your fomo with patience and knowledge that there will always be another trade (you'll just have to wait i.e. have patience), have a risk management plan and stick to it, you will eventually succeed in trading if you don't quit, self-improvement is necessary for growth in trading, change your mindset change your life, etc. Newer traders have yet to reach the understanding that majority of trading systems can work (risk management/psychology being the underlying reasons). So, they are still unaware of their naivety. More experience with charts (strategy hopping) and different perspectives (strategy hopping) will mold their understanding closer to those who have gone before them in the journey. Milestones. If they don't ever quit they will reach a limbo phase (an intermediate state) in the journey where they can see the changes they need to make in order to become consistently profitable. Then the inevitable will happen. They will join the ranks of professional traders and realize that the work doesn't end there. Self-development is vital in maintaining let alone achieving new heights. I've had my eye on your Rewired program for a while now. I'll admit that I do not have the money to purchase it but when I eventually do, it will be done without hesitation. Psychology is important in many career paths. Competition is everywhere, even internally. Sometimes that extra push you need to succeed comes from shifting your mindset. That is why I place value on your Rewired program. As for your question in the description, I completely agree that prop firms are here to stay. Maybe there will be regulations of some sort that discourage people from utilizing prop firms (I doubt it) but all in all, they will remain because of the value they provide on all sides. Not to mention the community within the prop firm industry being developed by traders for traders. They are entrepreneurial in nature so they will find ways around regulations (if they become intrusive) so that they can continue to provide value to traders and themselves.

It's not about the money.. It's about executing your edge..
