I have never felt more looked down upon, or even despised, for just my appearance as a black man than I did travelling separately in Finland, Austria and Hungary. It wasn't overt or stated directly but a series of irregular incidents in public just added up until I came to the realisation these things were happening because of the colour of my skin. And I'm telling you it's not a good feeling because I felt so powerless, especially since I'm not used to facing discrimination. My only consolation was I was in those countries for brief moments, and couldn't get out fast enough. I also understand there are black people who had good experiences in those countries but personally, I will not be returning even if I'm offered free Champions League tickets in those locations.

We had at least two scuffles about he wanting to intimidate me. He quickly realized that I am as tough guy. He sold his property in 2023 and moved.

Not all indians are racist but some are. 90% of my co-workers here in london are Indians and Pakistanis. Most are good but some others show superiority. If your mates are black, they may still experience some racism in those places. There are levels to these things. I don't think there is any country in the world that does not (on some level) believe in racial superiority and inferiority. Italy and Malta are more used to a variety of tourists though, but heard stories of racism in both and experienced it myself in Malta, although a long time ago and not from everyone , so I'm assuming they've progressed by now.

The country is pretty much run by the Indians. And their allegiance is to their land, India. No one discriminates against blacks like the Indian. But again, sad that such is happening on African soil.

The memories of my visits to South Africa are something I will always hold dear to my heart. I cherish the memories of the times I've spent in SA than the US which would be almost unusual for most Africans cause we see the US as a paradise. The only problem with SA is the government's unwillingness to find a lasting solution to the incessant crime.

I have to be honest, but some Nigerians have spoiled the name of the country. I know in India which has a ton of African students studying, the local Indians do complain about the Nigerians because too many of them have been caught in the drug trade and overstay their visas and commit crimes. You will never find the local Indian complain about the other African countries, they say it is always the Nigerians. Sadly most of the illiterate locals don't know the difference and see news reports of Africans. But I know I was in Goa for two weeks, and the locals there know the difference. They never trouble the other Africans and I even saw a Goan lady support a group of Africans. But the Nigerians are always caught with drugs. I just have to be honest. I believe in Kenya too, they wanted to expell all Nigerians at one time. I am sorry but some Nigerians spoil the name of ALL Africans.

Unfortunately Nigerians don't have a good reputation abroad.

I am born and raised in Mauritius. I recently visited Kenya. Kenya loves me more than Mauritius does. I feel home in Kenya. I do not feel home in Mauritius.
