That might look like the case to the untrained eye but honestly you now have so many more things to keep track of, so many different things you can do and make yourself different from anybody else instead of just mixing two tracks together and relying on pre-made dj edits.

That's just tools we can use now we would have a vocals when ever we want or just the beat .. I have been djing for 25 years I started on turntables.. this let's us do mashups on the fly with out having to buy the Instrumentals to each track . I mix hip hop and drum n bass

Just imagine if u had a roland tr8 with this to add your own 808 to do a live track with this to . Back in the day I would rock a 2 sec sampler and turntables.
