Staying there in September for my 60th birthday with my 2 adult kids and my daughter's husband. We've seen nothing but glowing reviews about the updates and renovations, so far. Really excited to visit in a few weeks.

Really good update! Thank you! I just stayed there myself three weeks ago. My room was in the same tower. It was very clean and spacious. I thought the pool area was very good as well. They still have a lot of work to do but the progress is remarkable. The Rio has very good room offers if you sign up for the rewards program. That new room was $136 for three nights and I just booked August there for $222 and that's for four nights.

Hello, I am new to the channel and I absolutely love this video. This is a place in the past where we wouldn’t really stay at ,only hit up the seafood buffet they had waaaaaaay back in the day. I believe we have comp rooms here for the Ipanema newly renovated,so we might just have to give this place a shot!

Looks great 😃❤ Jeff, all you have to do is walk across the street and jump on the 202 bus and it'll take you right back to the strip. Last month we got a 3-day bus pass for the first time for 10 bucks. It's normally 20 but if you're of a certain age it's only 10 and you can jump it on and off the bus for 3 days with the app on your phone. Easy 😊

I took my wife to the voodoo rooftop during our first trip together to vegas. Back before the rio went downhill. Glad to see renovations are happening cus rio went from my favorite hotel for years to the worst hotel for years

We went last month during the week, but since I had a coupon from LVA for lobster buffet did not eat there. We actually did ok on slots. The Starbucks was good, You pointed out a few places we did not go this trip, but have been before renovations. Great video. TY

I used to always stay at The Rio during the WSOP. I'm going to miss staying there. Even though people always seemed to hate on The Rio, I never had a problem. It's looking great!. I've eaten at Guy's and had the trash can nachos. They were very good! I like the idea of the new food court, and I might try to get there during my stay. I heard the sushi is very good. Thanks for sharing!

😊😊😊they have done a good job so far with the place. If you have a car stay here. Free parking. Food hall is great..try Tony Luke's cheese steak. Glad Caesars sold the place. Their new rewards even is generous to locals. Good review Jeff!

You'll need a spreadsheet to remember what is days and hours everything is open or closed! I have hears from friends that they thought the slot machines were tight. They are gradually removing the older machines too.

Thanks Jeff. Great view. I would love to stay there but the Uber/Lyftt rides to the Strip and Downtown would be really add up. I’m not good with public transportation in Vegas other than the Deuce Bus. Is bus service readily available to the Strip and Downtown?

We were there last month and got a bus pass put right on her phone. It was so easy. It was a 202 bus, 10 bucks for 3 days. Jump on and off the bus as many times you want. Go to the strip. Go downtown. You can pick up the bus and go to the strip right across from the Rio. Just get the RTC app on your phone 😉 easy peasy

We stayed there 2weeks ago had a good time gambling, pool was nice. Like the location. Hash house was disappointing. 6$ coffee, 5$ tea, 17$ for 1 large pancake d the potatoes were soggy.

vegas rtc bus runs every 15 minutes from rio to the strip. $5 for a 24 hour bus pass

I’m personally choosing to refrain from recording and producing a review for the Rio until BOTH Phases I AND II are completed in full. I feel if I tried doing one beforehand, I wouldn’t be doing the resort justice and provide a misleading indicator as to what the resort is fully like given that they’re in the middle of Phase I and still have a lot of renovating to go. Needless to say, I’ve been cheering on Rio from the very beginning after Caesars shamelessly emaciated and neglected the resort. I’m rooting for Rio to be the ultimate feel-good comeback story in Vegas. I’ll refrain from staying there until both phases are fully complete, but I’ll definitely stop by Lapa Lounge for some video poker or Canteen for a bite. 🙂

I'll miss the cocktail waitress's and there dancing we had the greatest waitress ever so beautiful my mom brother sister in law and myself had a blast and i couldn't stop winning came home flight hotel food drinks became for me a free trip and lots of extra cash

I wouldnt stay here. Its still a dump. The a/c barely works in the lobby and half the rooms are so old. If you want a place to relax dont stay here. I stayed here a few weeks ago, I think they are wasting money. Time to let it go.
