The Rivian R1T and R1S quad-motor is an amazing piece of hardware, but Rivian built its own motors from scratch for the new dual-motor setup - half the motors, but 90% of the performance AND improved range, too!

Nice video . For most people the dual motor is the best option . Good range , good value for money and still has the adventure philosophy.

Nice Rivian EV truck, definitely more practical and conventional than a cyber truck but to each his own. There is plenty room for both.

It's not clear. Was the Dual Motor the regular or the performance variant you first drove?

I heard him say there was a ‘sport’ mode so it must be the dual motor performance. The regular doesn’t have that option

Really wish they would fix the headlights. I would probably buy one but it looks like a giant mini cooper can’t stand it.

The headlights are pretty iconic and I think most people love them haha but it does seem to be a love it or hate it type of thing. I just think it makes the truck so recognizable. You can identify a Rivian coming down the road immediately

@@MeijinSensei I've driven the Rivian. People like it, you don't look like a tool pulling into a parking lot. Just looks like a nice SUV. Cybertruck is made for tools, it's the ugliest thing on planet earth. If you told me a half rotten 2x4 board had 400 miles of range, all wheel drive and could do 0-60 in 1.9 seconds I'd be about as excited about it as the cybertruck. I want a family SUV, not a douche razor.
