I personally think its hands down better then the 301. I saw it for the first time last year at the NWTF 50th year convention and instantly new id be replacing my 301.

Tuffy is made in brazil if I remember correctly. 301 is made in China. Personally I rather give my money to the brazilian economy than the chinese.

My onlly complaints (and it’s hard to nitpick a shotgun in this price range): 1. I wish the barrel was shorter. Like 18.5-22” maybe. 2. The stock rail is a bit high on my .410. That’s it. It would be the perfect “run & gun” shotgun if it weren’t for those 2 things. Still hard to beat for running & gunning.

Stevens for me. Because they still have a steel receiver. Other than the stock and that receiver they’re pretty much the same guns IMO.

Ok I love mine but apex kicks the ever loveing shit out of you .....did your barrel look like some one shot a bunch of slugs out of it brand new? I had to polish mine very heavily please get the heavy metal .573 and apex gt 20 I want to see what you all think of it I bought that choke for $12 lucked out with it
