Rotation is not an option for us. Comparing us to City in this regard is failing to grasp something fundamental. You have to develop rotation from the VERY BEGINNING of the season. You can't just start doing it at the end. City start seasons a bit slow for a reason: because Pep is rotating the hell out of his team. So it takes time for all of those players to mesh, to develop partnerships and get acquainted with different roles. But when he gets to the home stretch, he now has a full squad of players at their peak to choose from who have synergies between them. We, on the other hand, do not rotate sufficiently early on. This means our first team hits peak faster than City but when rotation is required in the late season, we pay the price. We CANNOT rotate like City now. It's too late. There's no other choice than to try to power through.

Finally someone knowledgeable in gooner land. People think rotating squad is easy if you have world class players but they forget if you let them sit and rot in bench they won't stay world class. We do rotate a lot as much as possible in early 2 to 3 months of every season then by december so during that process we lose some games. But after that we get a squad ready enough to rotate and not lose much in both attacking and defensive areas that's why we usually go on a run from then on. Arsenal only rotate when there are injuries early so the likes of Smith Row and Viera don't have any game time hence even he puts them in now the drop off is so significant gooners will cry why did he do it even though his main squad players such as Saka are jaded and thus off form due to lack of resting period.

A fan is the one who pays for the tickets and therefore contributes a big part of a team’s revenues (besides tv, shirt and stadium sponsorships). The players play for the fans. If the fans are unhappy with the quality of performance by the players, it’s their right to express their disapproval by leaving..
