featherweight and bantamweight have always had far more stars and entertainers than flyweight, kinda hard to put my finger on it but theres just never been a flyweight that can sell fights

@@woolly337 Besides DJ, Merab, Sean O Malley, Volk, Topuria. I don’t watch many smaller fighters. I have no idea why flyweight is so different to bantamweight. Maybe there’s just not enough wrestling or knockout stars. Both are entertaining to me.

Yeah it’s a split between personality and knockouts in my opinion there’s not really been any interesting flyweights but Manel kape was gaining attention when he started disrespecting izzy😂 and there aren’t any ko artists except figgy at flyweight but even then to be a star it needs to be a mix of both

@@C0d0psfeel like the difference is just obviously the weight cut. Guys like Kape and Figgy just have hard time making that weight sometimes and just drain yourself too much. Guys obviously see that flyweight is a much smaller division but you’re cutting so much weight to get there. So really it’s either go to 125 which is a smaller division which mean you can get into the top 15 easier in exchange of draining yourself or go to 135 and be in a much more staked division but you don’t have to drain yourself that much
