The easiest way to disprove the idea of white culture being at threat is to point out that all over the Western world we celebrate various specific European cultures without anyone calling it racist. St. Patrick's Day, for example. Many American and Canadian towns celebrate Kriscringle, a German Christmas festival. There are also food festivals dedicated to specific cultures in cities across the West. Those are our cultures, not "white".

My experience may not be representative, but the people I met in the Navy were total opposite of the stereotypical edgy right-winger. The Navy is pretty inclusive on its own (I mean it's the NAVY), but the guys and gals on my ship were very progressive. I came from a fundamentalist christian right-wing family and my military experience actually pushed me to the left.

i kind of recall a few years ago there was a loose adaptation of The Business Plot. I think it came out in 2022, it was called Amsterdam. I think there was a bit of controversy behind it due to the filmmaker David O. Russell having a history of abuse or sexual assault I think. I don't think he was abusive on set of this movie, but I think more people might've been speaking up more that year about a lot of bad stuff he did in the past. There might've been other details as to why this movie didn't do so well. But as a movie in and of itself I thought it was pretty enjoyable.

The likelihood of a revolution in the USA is close to Zero simply due to the deep comfort and luxury enjoyed by its people, along with the resilience of the established system. While protests occur, they often lack the cohesion, ' determination' and organization necessary for significant change. It's not as simple as Appalachian places like West Virginia are dumb shits that vote against their best interest. The fact is, most seats in Appalachia no go uncontested because the National Democratic Party abondoned our states. Anywhere from 65% to 85% of seats now go uncontested. West Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia and many other Appalachian states had a Democrat party majority locally until the early 2000s. It's not voting that's the problem, it's that the states were abandoned by the DNC, in part because we are poor and not hubs for fundraising. When polled, Appalachia is far more left than our statehouses reflect. Appalachia was a hub for labor uprisings in the U.S. after all (part of the reason this region has historically been demonized by the ruling class). There's a long history that's being overlooked as well as an understanding of the region that leads to these misconceptions, and to be honest, deeply hurts my community as an Appalachian. I wish that "leftists" would stop using ignorant neo-liberal stereotypes or shallow analysis when it comes to this region. Talk to Appalachian organizers before crapping on our community and spreading misinformation about this region being full of ignorant bigots that vote against their own interests.

@@coasterblocks3420 Wrong. Fascism was only a thing in Italy first of all. Also Mussolini explicitly denounced Capitalism and the Fascist ideology strictly opposed it as I said already. Fascism was a totalitarian far-left, socialist 3rd position ideology based on National Syndicalism which they adapted from Georges Sorel. It rejected individualism, capitalism, liberalism/democracy, and marxism. The means of production was organized by national worker syndicals (i.e. trade unions), and the guiding philosophy of the state was Actual Idealism. Fascism was an outgrowth of Sorellian Syndicalism, which itself was an outgrowth from Marxist socialism. The idea was that society would be consolidated (i.e., incorporated) into syndicates (in the Italian context, fascio/fasci) which would be regulated by and serve as organs for the state, or "embody" the state (corpus = body). The purpose was the centralization and synchronization of society under the state, as an end unto itself. To quote Mussolini's infamous aphorism: "All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state." As created by Mussolini and Giovanni Gentile, Fascism comes from a belief that the "Stateless and Classless society" Communism calls for after its dictatorship cannot achieve Socialism, and that only the State can properly organize a Socialist Society. It cared about unity in a strong central government with society being brought together by syndicalist organizations obedient to the State.

Meanwhile Capitalism allows competition and innovation when it comes to more efficient ways to do things and reduce the amount of pollution created in the process.... assuming the Government doesn't intervene and make it harder.
