@@witek607 B230 is way better IMO, because the 2JZ is overpriced and all of them are unreasonably tuned to 2000hp for them internet slayer numbers, and explode, so they're overpriced even more, vs their actual performance (they do best in the 400-600hp range IMO). Meanwhile the B2xx's have kept their performance vs value incredibly well (for lighter cars), and the cars they are put into are 10x cheaper, so, the Volvo's are more relevant and in line with budget fun, which is what Toyota was supposed to be (and miserably failed at in later years) :)

Deals are still out there but you gotta constantly be looking. late last year I scored an '85 m46 turbo sedan for $700 from a neighbor. But most online listings are comically high now. Everyone wants 5k minimum for their auto n/a beaters lol

@@driftsnlifts I always laugh when I hear people in FD, IDC or other drift series saying they are running 9psi tyres...we do the opposite just to be able to get the wheels to spin! 60psi in the wet and we can burnout lol

See, the horrible mpg is what should sell you on drifting it (don't need to throw out all the interior for that), because you pay for smiles per mile, and I honestly can't think of any better way of doing that than sideways lol.
