When you build over trees, the game still keeps the trees. So, when you build a building over a tree, the tree goes away, but if you were to destroy the building, the tree will return. Removing trees prior to building will help frames in the long run as it is less items to render, even when you can't even see the trees.

The wedge idea: you can do a separate truck/lorry road out of the wedge by first covering said road and your industrial zone with any district then you surround that district with district/s with the Heavy Traffic Ban policy for better traffic flow. (It works because i do it on pretty much every city I do) Ps: normal cars can still use it and will if its a better alternative without traffic so a spiral thing would make it more efficient too so win win

Crazy idea: The flood walls could have been substituted for highways up one side and down the other. Even on the back of the wedge. Short on and off ramps to get people in and out of the different slices. If necessary, a short bluff could be used to hold the ramps. No need for sloppy bridges. You'd think an engineer would know better. This is the type of work I'd expect from an architect...

I could be wrong here, but I imagine the fire wasn't handled by the local fire fighters since they all fucked off with the ambulances and police to the main city. Basically what you are dealing with is all the services go to wherever they are needed and since the main city has all the needed services stuck in traffic and whatnot, whenever you build a new one it leaves. I know there are mods or other ways to lock services into a specific district though, so maybe look into one of those if it bothers you.

A good idea for a city it's going to be called The Cone and basically it's going to be like the wedge but in the shape of a cone and at the bottom floor or all the services and then it's like bottom floor services the floor after that houses the floor above that offices and other stuff the floor above that houses basically every other floor is houses and every floor after the houses is something unique anyway I hope it's a good idea for the city also at the top you could add like a Space Needle

Since you did a Sydney Harbour Bridge review you should look into Bradfield's plans and the other proposal to crossing the harbour with a three way bridge.

RCE, Blitz and Intern may have called you the Real Civil Architect who does bridge reviews recently in a forts video. I think you three should do a 3 round contest of forts, bridge building, and hydroneer. Just to settle the matter.
