In the Gita is says that in Turya, the fourth state of consciousness. duality disappears. This does not mean that the phenomenal world is an illusion or unreal, the illusion is the sense of separateness.

Loved the example of television. It will be funny/absurd to keep saying “this is not real” and continue to watch the television at the same time. Watch it and once done just recognize that that was not real and move beyond that effortlessly. Thank you Gurudev for making it simple for us to understand.

The Guru Dev is a blessing he explains very abstract concepts simply and succinctly with great joy and humor. He is the real deal. Although, I practiced another meditation technique truth is truth is truth is truth and he speaks the truth. I had the pleasure of meeting him back in the late seventies one on one. Just before he started his world foundation. I can’t put into words but it was a all encompassing presence an ocean of love

I liked how he put down most questions with something of a "why do you need to know, why do you need to do that, why can't you be just where you are and as you are"! 😄 He's right, we do split ourselves so bad when we want to be "here" but believe we should be "there". Consciousness only knows, Shakti only acts, they are a couple - one lame, one blind - was also such a good explanation! Reminded me of Gurudev's discourse on the Murugan Rahasyam.

Self-enquiry is not just the discovery that the individual mind is non-existent. Self and other go together so when the delusion of individual witness is removed, the delusion of an external world apart from that witness is removed and the elements are revealed to be only consciousness because they are within consciousness.

Pranam Gurudev. 🙏 Illusion is an appearance to be and its not..... reality is which not change with time. ..How Gurudev you explained it with nice examples. Our band of perception is small frequency of a vast range of frequency. We know very little. Negative emotions are also powers... example constructive anger can do big changes in society. They all r part of the scenery (maya). Scenery has a unique power n the Seer has its own unique power. Never blame this illusive world. This is secret. How... .. explained well. Nice story of Adi Shankaracharya. And so on... really a very special, very deep, introspective, brain stimulating session. So many tips too ...to how we can come out of illusion. Some times accept Maya ... as when we have pain in the body... then don't resist it.... like tips. Very useful session too. Thank you Gurudev. 🙏
