Karen being a part of the Chelsea family seems very emotional. I don't believe that Emma has given up on the title. City looks to take it and while they have Arsenal still to play we have Spurs and United which can be tricky. Especially with us being shaky at times. Barcelona really affected them and it is understandable. But I believe it is to take the pressure off. There was a lot of noise with regard to trophies and it being Emma's last season and as the trophy possibility became less it was more pressure. I think by quieting the noise and removing the pressure it's about enjoying what's left of the season

Courtney is right about how the players and managers need to be mindful when dealing with the media. A coach or player should never give the media anything negative to spin. It will only hurt you in the end, and for some reason, emma hasnt learned that yet.

I commented before elsewhere that I believe Aggie should have had more game time this year, to develop her game, since she is a potential match winner. Why's everyone, including Karen Carney, forgetting the fact Chelsea have had a bigger workload than both Arsenal and Manchester City? The Champions League campaign is grueling, and Chelsea's most significant losses have come against these big teams which had a huge advantage in terms of workload. I'm proud of what my team has done, and Emma Hayes is the closest manager to ever be beyond reproach. She's in charge at the moment, and nothing else matters.

I can't help but notice the subtle or not so subtle bias there that maybe Hayes and Chelsea won't win it this year.. So unfortunate given how good Man City are and have been and how much they deserve this.. There is WSL outside of Chelsea and Emma Hayes...

For Chelsea to win it on points, City have to either draw with Arsenal and lose to Villa or lose to Arsenal and only draw with Villa. At the same time Chelsea have to win all games, which includes Man Utd away and Spurs (the two FA Cup finalists)... Alternatively, City must lose to Arsenal and Chelsea beat Bristol and Spurs with a net turnaround of at least eight goals.... and on the last day City play Villa (second bottom) whilst Chelsea visit Man Utd.... City have lost Shaw but probably so late in the season to not affect the outcome. Chelsea haven't got Macario and Kirby properly firing still coming to fitness from injury. Ramirez looks like a fantastic prospect and James has done great, but not recently... They're missing Reiten's contributions from last year... So I'd have to say Ms Hayes comments simply reflect the reality of where things are... They've been nearly good enough in all competitions, but poor refereeing has cost them v Barca and Man Utd, and Man City and Arsenal and Liverpool were all well prepared for single victories....

Man city ain’t winning no title In my book not this year at-least because city only have two games left this season against arsenal and Aston villa two strong sides while khadija Shaw their machine of a striker is injured and can’t play for the rest of the season. How ever Chelsea have three games in hand and they have more experience they have won before they can do it again and pull of a miracle to win their fifth this year.

I am more concerned about the inability in this country ( women, men , Lionesses ) to beat European or foreign teams ( convincingly ) and a feeling from me watching Lyon and PSG, Barcelona recently that they have always been and still are way ahead football quality wise .....and that something about the english football scene drags us down...maybe supporters here who cant appreciate the need to stand on the ball sometimes and not always rush forwards ...even overwhelmingly foreign managers and foreign players are dragged back by this so no fine margins when it comes to footballing quality
