Is that legit? Holy shit, if it is then her summons DPS is much higher then I already calculated out. As an off-field DPS with r5 HoD and “perfect” artifacts, no supports but in a freeze team, she can do close to 39k DPS, according to my calculations. That’s also not counting her skill and burst DMG, just her summons DMG.

@@Blizandrio He didn't "kept" doing that. He does it in the Alhaitham team, but Furina goes first in all the other teams I noticed. Besides, there's nothing wrong with that. None of Baizhu's abilities heal on cast. The skill needs to attack 3 times before it heals and the burst heals when the shield is broken or every 2.5 seconds. Plenty of time to use Furina's burst before Baizhu starts healing.

I mean many times it made sense since he was able to get 2 Baizhu skills before the on-fielder took the field time for more energy, a few times it didn't of course but expecting someone to play perfectly every time with a new character is kinda stupid.

Yes she can buff Nahida’s skill dmg and such, but the main dmg source is still either EM Kuki or EM raiden triggering the seeds If u use her with C0 Hutao, ur most likely going to remove Xinqiu bcs all u care is dmg, and also remove Zhongli for a healer, but then u lose all form of stagger resistance, if u get hit u will get staggered or knocked back, u do get an dmg upgrade, but is that dmg difference big enough to exchange the comfort of not having dodge anything at all and just stand still to do your jump cancels or whatever? The fishing weapon does help Furina a bit with ER, but she still needs over 200ER when she’s used as single hydro in a team, if u have the character and the weapon, u would know from experience And the healers u mentioned, they all do nothing but heal, is it worth swapping out 2 buffers/2 sub dps/1 buffer 1 sub dps for Furina + Healer? I like it, mostly because since Nahida has had such a dominant stranglehold on Dendro, seeing Yaoyao and Baizhu get good usage propping up. It's quite nice.

Yeah many teams that currently try to stretch "just enough healing" with other offensive utility find it hard to fit her in without compromising on said offensive utility. However, she rewards teams that can fit in that extra healing, turning that extra healing into offensive utility herself.

Don't mix meta and viability. Mika, qiqi, noelle, ning has finally become playable but they're nowhere near of becoming meta chars. They have to become the best in their category or get clear time comparable to the other meta teams to be called that.

Dude, it isn't that hard to use some common sense. Obviously fucking not lol. What I'm saying and what you aren't understanding is that a NEW META has emerged because of Furina: the use of healers as offensive tools vis a vis Furina's mechanic. What I'm saying is that there can be new options for teambuilding, which is literally what Meta is based on. Obviously these specific characters aren't going to become meta, but new characters based on this "Healers are good to have and can not only be good but incredible options to your team" CAN in the future. It's like Dendro when it first came out: the options weren't meta, like DMC and Collei, but eventually Nahida, and Al Haitham came out and blew the door off. Hyperbloom, Nilou bloom, spread and aggravate teams became meta as the path to power was significantly lowered from before as a barrier to entry. Players would just literally use shields or no healers or only healers but not for healing but for buffs or utility of elemental application,. It's super fun. I use Noelle as my main DPS. C6, red horn, husk with 70Cr and 230Cd. furina C2 (level 80 with talents 4/6/8) along with Gorou and yunjin (both with trash artifacts and level 80). the result was as follows: 70k for the first hit, 89k for the last hit and 112k for the shield explosion! simply insane for a 4 star

To add, building for just Hyperbloom is a fundamentally restrictive approach to team building. Furinas design philosophy is to nudge players towards building team damage rather than damage focused on a single reaction

@@hachiman8935 True, I still haven't figured out a team for Furina and I was hoping that zajef will give me more ideas. maybe Taser is the best team so far and the easiest to build for her 🤔 double hydro with Hutao is also nice but it's single target so it's an over kill imo for a team that has been already good before.

As much er and atk as possible and maybe a healing bonus circlet but i think thats a bit overkill, but i also wouldnt make a dps build out of it Probably viridescent but noblesse works too (and healing sets too i guess) If you have skyward blade, i think thats gonna work pretty well, otherwise fav or any other weapon that gives at least a bunch of atk or er This is an educated guess, but also its not that hard to figure out

VV pretty much always. ATK/ATK/Healing Bonus or ER/ATK/Healing Bonus depending on if your ER reqs are met. Try to get as much ER as you can from subs until you can consistently burst every rotation and then ATK% subs after that. If you're running Fav you also need to build crit rate subs ER and ATK swords are good, so Favonius Sword, Sacrificial Sword, Amenoma, Fleuve Cendre Ferryman, Sapwood Blade, Skyward Blade, Aquila Favonia, etc. with Favonius probably being the best, but maybe not if you have low crit rate, so you can go Amenoma as the base option.

Use a crit circlet. If you're jean is actually built she will full heal even with er/atk/crit. Never use healing bonus unless your talent levels are trash.

@@lawfulgoodnun1646 Level 90 Talent lvl 9 burst, ER/Atk/Crit with 50% Atk substat and Amenoma. 2055 Atk -> 11906.85 base healing. Jean has HB ascension, so that's 14538.26 burst healing. Ideally you're healing about 50% of your teams HP instantly with her burst, and would you look at that. If you have HP scalers on your team they can quite easily be above, 29077.

It's really fun but I ran Albedo in place of Yelan to make the most if Gorou and help out with Noelles energy. Furinas application was still enough to shred the shields of the abyss mages chamber 1. Furina and Noelle had heavy burst requirements 8 so yeah, I had to run energy recharge sand on my Noelle

Personally I use the yelan, baizhu, nahida quickbloom cyno core all the time, and I never have energy issue with cyno. I use thundering fury set with 133% er, so perhaps you might want to to increase your er Stat on him just a bit if you’re not using TF. Edit: Furina is a godsend btw, the damage shoots up in comparison to yelan, who in my case had elegy, and it was already hitting hard before her

Are you using fav on your Yelan? Cyno should be fine with 130 ER and thundering fury Also Furina's pets should generate some energy for Cyno, since it's a skill instead of a burst, so maybe you will not have energy issues

Another TCer who discussed this is the Genshin Scientist. Furina is a strict upgrade over Yelan/Xingqiu for uptime, dmg buffs while keeping a similar dmg profile. You do have less hyperblooms but not much. Since Cyno's best teams have Baizhu, its easy to replace previous hydro with Furina and get all the benefits. As for myself, Im going to use her in Abyss later. I only just got her to 80 so she is still lacking dmg but should be fine

@@NexusGamerss Yeah I was using Fav on Yelan. Now I'm testing with Furina on the team and I gave her the Fav Sword. She does less damage but at least she helps with Energy. I'm also using Thundering Fury on Cyno, but I only have 116% ER on him (only one of his pieces has er and it's a Feather with 16% er lol). I think if I can re-farm TF domain and at least get 1 sub stat of ER on every piece that would be enough.

It does but you have to balance getting some buff sooner in your rotation vs lengthing the rotation and letting shorter buffs expire. Sometimes that second rotation when you have some health loss going in will be stronger. It's why her c1 is good to shoot for since then you don't have to worry about that balance.

Itto teams with Furina lack a healer that lets your team stay HP positive. C4 Gorou with a full healer build barely heals 1-2 characters, BUT you have to switch to them since C4 is onfield only. There are a few workarounds such as comps like Itto/Baizhu hyperbloom, but at that point why bother with Itto Itto is generally better, but in terms of Furina as a teammate, Noelle is just much. Navia doesn’t have any HP gimmicks that work in the context of Furina, but he seems to think Navia will be okay.

@@MoodyBlues70 Of course, only the best for our best maid. Er/def/crit artifacts since Furina provides a universal damage bonus. Great part about the damage bonus is it buffs Noelle's physical too if you don't want to waste her burst on trash mobs.

I'd guess Baizhu, unless the extra fanfare stacks cap is something you will easily reach on teams you already have with Furina. I'm a fan of the team building side of Genshin more than vertically investing, so i almost always favor new units over cons unless the con enables new teams (e.g. Neuv C1 allows you to run a hydro unit like Furina with no penalty)

I have a reasonably strong Jean, and pulling Baizhu was a game-changer for my Furina. She's actually fun now. 🙂
