That was relative truth in Arjun(the person identified with duality)’s perspective. But from perspective of Lord Krishna, the Absolute.. All is his play.. Arjun is a mere instrument who was destined to go thru every action as well as all consequences completely as per the Divine Will so what free will did Arjun really have? The whole “I am the doer” thought from Arjun itself is not true.. The doer had always been Lord Krishna.. Krishna was Arjun too, Duryodhan too, Everything that is is Krishna.. All merely instruments in his hand.. Did they have any choice? It’s all the Lord’s play.. There is only one free will that is to withdraw from the play by turning inwards to realize Oneness and yet even that depends on His grace. If one let’s go of all thoughts of self effort and accepts life as it is.. Will life end for him? Absolutely not.. It infact is the highest surrender to divine will which simply means one has realized I do nothing.. Only Lord does!

Hello Sir, God has given us free will, but it is upto us to choose and decide to act on it, again based on the greater good. If the greater good means to go against your heart's desires, how to live with the consequence of choosing the greater good vs what your heart desires ?
