This video reiterated some of the information that was covered in the other ethical videos. There is and should be a level of ethical importance in healthcare professions. Some of the key things that stood out were the importance of mitigating patient/provider asymmetric information in which has been a recurring theme. The value of mutual trust across medical staff when making decisions and ensuring compliance in relation to state and federal guidelines( HIPPA). My biggest takeaway as a consumer and patient is trusting the healthcare system without reservation as it can be a difficult decision if misinformation, high costs and limited treatment plans play a role.
