Absolutely love him. The way he hold and carry the ball itself show he is going to breakthrough under Ten Haag and establish himself for the season to come. Really really exciting young player. Physique, stamina and strength improvement will further help him in achieving his true potential ability

I think iqbal and fdj can play together. Iqbal is a cm/cam Fdj is a cdm/cm Fdj was a CB before ETH turned him to a cdm. Hence why he's more defensive, Iqbal isn't that defensive.

The problem is with players like him at United when given the pressure too young they crack.. in recent years most of the United superstar youngsters haven't lived up to the hype because they get brought in too early to be a key player and the pressure is too much, look at Welbeck, Rashford, Greenwood, Morrison even Pogba to an extent.. at United the pressure on them by the public, the press and the club too early just destroys their careers

@@dylanbishop4175 but we have to try, and every example you made must be looked individualy. Marcus didn't cracked if you ask me, the injury he had pulled him down a little bit. Ravel was a hot head, Welbeck was never a Cole\Rooney\Tevez material... Mason was amazing before this entire craziness happened. We always had great young players and SAF was winning titles with them. That's what we should do again. C'mon guys, we have tried these mega signings and look where we have landed? Nowhere. Malacia, Eriksen and Martinez, okay. But now let's try Zidane, Garner, Pallistri, Garnacho, Hannibal.... Because if these guys were playing for RB Leipzig, Leicester or Monaco we would be offering 50+ millions for them.

Ten Hag said in his interview today - if they're good enough they're old enough, and this kid's definitely good enough. Hope he doesn't get sent off on loan somewhere and never get a proper chance. Apart from Rashford and Greenwood (which I'm not really counting), there's been very little breakthrough from academy players in recent years. Savage also looking solid. We should move on from De Jong now honestly.
