SCP 2085 consists of Multiple Object Class anomalies also known as The Black Rabbit Company.
SCP-2085 is a militant anarchist organization consisting of six cybernetically-enchanced individuals (A-1 through A-5 and B) operating under the name Kuroi Usagi Shidan (“Black Rabbit Company”).
SCP2085 has been linked, through what member testimony can be verified, to numerous criminal and terrorist incidents.

while technically yes, these are certainly two separate anomalies that happen to have formed a group together. on a metatextual level they are part of the same story, and thus the most effective way to keep the story together is to classify them together also if the genetically and cybernetically enhanced cat girl super soldiers say he is one of them, I wouldn't be in a hurry to tell them they are wrong

To be fair they're the Black Rabbit "Company", so they're one unified anomaly (not to mention how much the video emphasizes that they are an inseparable unit, so it really wouldn't make sense to seperate them). Edit: plus he IS the leader so it would be even weirder to seperate them Much how like how many anomalies are events or groups that contain several objects classified under/as a part of it - for example, those neutralized clowns. The three of them had vastly different bodies, but because they were all part of the same phenomenon and group they're all classes as the same anomaly.

Fun Fact: The Company was contained when out of a desire to relieve Wizard of pain from Red, they tried to break into Site-19 after randomly discovering the Foundation to try to steal SCP-348. Needless to say, they failed. Their story is continued in SCP-2117, the Stealing Solidarity Canon, and SCP-2722, which was created due to some temporal mess that allowed it and the living Black Rabbit Company to exist at the same time.

So, something important to keep in mind about this SCP - it's a bit of a deconstruction of the foundation. While most SCP articles portray the foundation as the good guys, brave soldiers and researchers protecting the world from unspeakable horrors, or sometimes protecting wonderous artifacts from enemies who wish to destroy or misuse them, 2085 was meant to portray the foundation in a more antagonistic light. The foundation is keeping these six vigilantes held against their will and it's not even because of their laundry list of crimes, but simply because of the nature of their existence, condemning them to lives spent in solitary confinement, being treated as objects to study and not the people they really are. The world of the SCP foundation is a world where you can lose your basic human rights simply because you woke up one morning with a third eye or glow-in-the-dark skin.

I read a book once (don’t remember which one) where there was a shapeshifter, however they couldn’t gain mass, so when it got injured, especially something severe like the loss of a limb, they wouldn’t be able to transform into anything as big, and eventually was stopped by doing enough damage to make it too small to make it be able to do much at all

From someone that lives with chronic pain, naming your pain or personifying it is very common, because it's such a massive impact on your life and there isn't much else you can do. The pain seems to be its one thing, like something attached to you that reacts to different things or changes in severity (and at very few times seems to sleep). mine doesn't have a name but I imagine it as a black ball with a cross pair of eyes under my skin in my right leg. often it gets bored and just prods me constantly sometimes it grows and it feels like there is pressure on my hip sometimes it grows spikes and I get stabbing pains sometimes it moves down behind my knee and kicks my kneecap as I walk, trying to trip me up and then there are the fun times when its friends come round to visit and they all take turns doing the above

@Abdullah Bin JS thanks. Sadly its chronic pain so there is no getting better really. Even if their was a "reason/source" and it was fixed, the way nerves work with chronic pain is they get stuck thinking they need to send pain signals - also they tell other near by nerves to send pain signal as they think the brain isnt getting the message (this is why if you go to a specialist they may say the source of the pain is different to where you think it is e.g. your foot might feel like its hurting but its your hip that the actual source. In an odd way, the way the wizard guy acts is actually a really healthy thing to do mental i.e. not letting the pain be the only thing in your life. Btw i wasn't wanting this post to be a downer :) just it was interesting being able to give an insight into this aspect of life.

It's a minor quibble, but I wish that people who set out to make Japanese-themed SCPs would check with some people proficient in Japanese. Then they could find out that onyomi is a thing, and that while their literal word-by-word translating of group names and such aren't usually wrong exactly, it sounds unnatural and clunky.

I think this SCP is wild and unique. Think about it! Some cliche anime tropes becoming unique in a place that the anime niche is pretty rare there (Scary , Creepy, and End of the World Scenario are the "niches" in SCP universe). So this SCP put some little bit of anime niche with adding some creepy monstrous entity tropes to the SCP Universe is kinda almost unique to me and they're all really wild and their name almost "dosen't make sense". I mean the teams are called "Black Rabbit Company" dispite it has 5 anime cat-girl there.

(No seriously, the SCP-2085-A instances named themselves after anime characters. While most of them are named after female characters, A4 is the exception, naming herself after a certain, vampiric meme lord.) EDIT: I got that fact from the actual article. I think your'e going in the right direction. While SCP-2085-A-1 to 5 appear to be inseparable, there's one member who doesn't belong. SCP-2085-B might be the key to breaking the trust within them. IF they can't trust their leader maybe, just maybe, you'll be able to break them up little by little.

I don't know if it's the presentation having a a weak hook, or if it's just the subject being inherently uninteresting, but I didn't take to this video the same way I took to others. The 2085-A-1 to 2085-A-5 subjects read like a series of bland anime cyborg experiment waifu OC tropes, and I don't find anything actually compelling about about their interactions with 2085-B. Even the ridiculous organization name of Kuroi Usagi Shidan feels more like a preteen's imagination of "cool" rather than a believable organization that exists within the universe of the SCP foundation. With that said, I do appreciate the effort that the team puts into animating and writing videos every day, since the channel really does spoil us, but I just don't know if this particular SCP does a good job of showcasing the narrative universe of the SCP foundation.

So one thing they could try is bargaining. Or threats. The SCP foundation doesn't really like to do the threat thing so let's stick to bargaining. "We'll give you some missions. Things to help better the world. Get some time outside these cells. You give us the information we've been asking for." I'm sure that will go a lot farther than the current stalemate.

My suggestion to you is a used good old-fashioned CIA techniques you know waterboarding sleep deprivation, starvation taking their clothes, loud music, no toilet to use, spraying them down with a water hose, you get the point it'll work, since they are cat like they'll hate to be dirty, it may sound mean but drastic measures might need to be needed, good luck .

Hmm, I was able to pass Jackie's secret with the anamorphic items, but this I cannot do. Anyways, what if you do some of the opposite things to their methods? For example, for the first one, don't let them talk for a very long time. They seem to build morale via talking, so don't let them speak. It may sound sadistic and apathetic, but this is just a suggestion. This ignores the whole thing with the wizard, but whatever.
