Who is aware in a sleep ? If you have asked that to your self you are not the first. Papaji gives beautiful answer on this question but you have to inquire with him.

Yes, there is Awareness in a sleep. This includes deep, dreamless sleep. You may think there is no Awareness, but if someone jabbed you in the back with a stick...wouldn't wake up due to this? This is because there is Awareness. If there were no Awareness, nothing done to the body would wake the person from a sleep.

It seems there are two dream states 1) aware lucid dreaming 2 ) blackness.

Do you think that is it possible being aware of awareness when we sleep? I always ask for help before sleep, but i really don't know if makes sense :) tks

If you think it is something or existing, enquire where this thought has come from. If you think it is nothing or non-existent, enquire where this thought goes when it ends. Even "i" is also a thought or feeling. The mind is like a dream, a magical illusion, a trick of sight, a mirage, an echo, a reflection, an apparition, and a castle in the clouds. Appearing, yet empty. The essence of your mind, the awareness, does not fall into any extremes like existence or non-existence, eternalism or nihilism.
