We bought a destination trailer last year and parked it on a seasonal site. We were ready to be done with pulling an rv down the road.

I’d be very hard to insulate with all those windows and inclement weather I would not want that problem and that will be an issue. Absolutely.

Years ago we had a 35 foot TT. It was big and we did what your talking about. We put it across state, or down by the seashore for the season. Lots of parks will store them for you. One we used for years would take it in and out of storage for us.

I love that first one. The bedroom looks bigger than mine and I'm in a normal house. The second is really nice but I'm asthmatic and 65 so the stairs would be too much for me. Xx

We looked at something like this for our snowbird home for about a nano-second. Hard pass for us. Still all the headaches of an RV which is what we got tired of. So, we bought a park home on a golf course. Everything is hard wired and plumbed. Real heat and AC. Towing one of these down the road yourself is a disaster waiting for a place to happen. I'd definitely have it professionally moved.

So I don’t think this type of RV is a new trend at all. It’s a reimagining of an old concept of trailer homes which live in trailer parks or on private property all round the country…..in the midwest we call them tornado magnets.

You are correct. From 1980-1985 I purchased and lived in an 8x35 park model. It had a sliding patio door, home refrigerator, 4 burner stove, no slides or holding tanks. I rented a lot in a mobile home park the entire 5 years. I still miss that trailer.

People don't usually have the ability to move mobile homes themselves these are smaller .

These have fresh , gray and black tanks mobile homes do not also mobile homes don't have slides .

Also many areas have laws about mobile homes pertaining to water and sewer being installed ! Water meter or well and septic and drainfeild or city sewer connection . It's a public safety sanitation issue . These are more self contained .

A lot of people ask 'Why Elkhart'? as the Rv factory town? Well, if you look at the map, You'll notice Elkhart is pretty much halfway betwix Detroit & Chicago and a little south. So, Elkhart can pull experienced auto workers from Detroit and experienced factory workers from Chicago. See, there IS a method to their madness. !

Not sure if I like the rv with the sink in the entrance. Once in use there may be dirty dishes, sponges soap and other items in and around the kitchen sink, not the most welcoming sight to stumble upon. Small living spaces need to be functional - unfortunately the people designing them don’t always experience living in them in my opinion

I hate those large windows everyone forgets that travel trailer ac system is garbage so lets add larger windows lol when are they going to add mini splits from factory that'll be something worth advertising

I think I'd rather have a shuttle buss conversion. That is way too much fancy for me. If that floats yer boat, go for it.

This is just a way to make seniors lives more expensive and complicated. Like any other trailer, things need maintenance. Seniors need to go smaller and simpler. Are you putting one of these on the piece of land, base camp so you have much much more to care for..

So you have a couple in for dinner and sit on bar stools . And you you have to daily . Maybe I missed the table and chairs in the video . Not for me .
