I wish refs could give cards to players who feel that have to run up on a player which did a bad challenge. Defending a player ain't worth it. Fines exist.

Yes, is soccer arms and hands are for balance and running speed only. Putting them on another player like that is for Football not soccer. The Ref was right with the red card because it makes it clear to the other players that that’s not allowed.

100% carded the retaliation and failed to address the instigator. unless there were previous incidents in this game i think a straight red is ridiculous. ref needs to have control over the game before it gets to this point anyways

Yes the red is for her shoving her head to the floor after the poor tackle if she hadn’t done that it’s a yellow. Any retaliation and you walk or are very very lucky to get away with a yellow.

If the ref only gave 1 red then the ref got it wrong. There should have been 1 yellow, followed by a red for retaliation followed by another straight red fir violent conduct.

@@igam3r271 so you're happy with playacting , pretending to be hit in the face, to get an opponent sent off? Typical of present generation, lacking honesty and integrity, will plumb any depth to get a result. The women's game is going the way of the men's. More actors and one trick ponies than actual players. What should happen is the playacting cheat should get a ban and her playacting made public knowledge to all future refs so they can be aware of her cheating and bringing the game into disrepute.
