Don’t Tell the Bride is a wedding show like no other; instead of the wedding you want, it’s the wedding you’ll never forget - hopefully for all the right reasons! Each episode follows a couple through the entire process of organising a wedding, but the twist is that the bride has absolutely no involvement. For better or for worse, she has agreed to hand overall control of the wedding to the groom. She has no idea where she’s getting married, who is turning up or even what she is wearing until the big day itself. The couples are separated for the month leading up to the big day and the groom has to pull off the whole thing in secret. Will the relationship survive the strain? Will the groom succeed in pulling together the perfect wedding? And is his idea of perfection anywhere near hers?

You signed up for this show. You agreed to let him make all the decisions, including choosing your dress, and all you are worried about is getting your "power" back? I feel bad for him. I wish the producers of the show would not allow the brides to change the choice of the dress. You agreed now you have to wear it.

If it doesnt fit or is in terrinle condition ,or even just doesnt look good on. It would be perfectly acceptable to say no. I wouldn't do a show like this. I wouldn't want to skip out on the planning and the dress .i already decided on my perfect dress ,i wouldn't let anyone choose something else

The original Gown he chose actually made her waist tiny & she looked so tall & elegant in it. The Dress from the Window was pretty, but not the Show stopper her Husband selected.

How can you be with someone for that long (10 years I think?), and not know at least a little about what clothes they like? It seems like the guys always for for the opposite of what the bride likes. Having said that, this woman sounds like she was determined to change *something* about this wedding because she had given him "all the power" and "now it's time to take it back". Seems like she didn't like giving up control.

A lot of people on other don't tell the bride clips say, they should do a show on where these couples are now and whether or not they're still together. This couple have been togther for 20 years! You have to rememeber that the programme want to show drama, getting the guests, bride and groom to say or act in a way. It's entertaining after all! Have a good day wherever you are in the world ❤️

So the groom has a budget, right? My guess is he picked the prettiest two that he could afford in the budget. But she loved the elegant one IN THE FRONT WINDOW. It's no wonder he didn't pick that one; it's the most dramatic, cutting-edge and dear one in the whole shop.

I don't get why everyone is ragging soo hard on her. I feel like she was dissapointed because it feels like your partner doesn't know you at all when they pick clothing or gifts for you that doesn't suit your tastes in the slightest. She says "it's everything I said I didn't want" she told him what she didn't want, and he didn't listen to her at all. She wasn't being over bearing about it, she just seemed really dissapointed to find out that he didn't seem to know her at all

I’m with her. I like her choice much better than his. It’s slimming and elegant, instead of trying to be flashy. It’s her wedding too, and she’ll be the one looking at photos of it for the rest of their lives, so she should be happy with the dress.

@@Joy21090 well that’s you. Meanwhile, my parents (also married for over 30 years) have their wedding photos hung up in their room, where they look at it every day, and I grew up looking at it. My mom had a gorgeous dress and it’s inspired me to have a similar one.

Seriously 10 years? What a cow, you agreed to be on the show and knew the premises of the show. If you wanted to have all,the control, you should have come up with the money and done it YOUR way and not wait 10 years and let someone else pay for it. @anxietyoverload3087 I think most people would understand her being upset if she didn't like the dress, but she seemed more angry than upset. She was aggressive and rude to the people with her and the shop assistant/owner and generally came across as a spoilt b*tch, so I think that's why sympathy for her is lacking. Not to mention, she signed up for it and it wasn't series 1, so surely she must have known what she was getting into.
