Hey GG, got an idea to raise the stakes on this kind of a challenge. You can give me credit by inviting me to play next time you're near NJ, have an amateur × GG challenge. Hey, that 2 ideas. Back to the original idea: have the 2 man group play separately and take the best or worst score. Imagine Bubbie not knowing how Steve shot on the hole, and now he's gotta think about making a better score without knowing if a par is better or if Steve already made par so his OB shot is not a problem. Then you tee flip to see who's score you take, all totally blind. It's got potential to wreck a team or save a team.

It's definitely not beautiful even when he hits a great drive. Matt's swing is strange, it can hit some good shots but you also have those that start way offline blocked way right, topped, shanked because Matt arms turn to jello (it's the best way to describe it) mainly irons but sometimes drives. I have no clue how matt is able to do this, it's like his arms become wavy, you really see with chipping or shorter shots.

@@chosen1one930 its very good actually at least on the drive at 16:57, actually maintaining a good structure with the left arm, starting with an explosive turn and letting the club do the work for you with your hands falling into place from the rotation. your swing is not supposed to be rigid, jello is the way

@pivotmaster9556 no way jello? Wtf is your handicap. His swing does look terrible especially on short shots and chips. Not supposed to be jello like. Great video! Maybe could use a little less of the "I pushed it" or "I pulled it" almost every time you guys miss a putt. Not every missed putt is a push or pull. Sometimes (often times) you just miss the putt because you read it wrong or started it on the wrong line or whatever. The push or pull line assumes you would have made the putt if you hadn't left your putter face open or closed, which is low key braggadocious.

Agree to disagree. Do you think a golfer should take more pride in his green reading or in his actual putting stroke? It would sound more like bragging, imo, if every time they missed a putt they said, 'i rolled that perfectly.' If you think about it, they do say, sometimes, that they put a good roll on it, usually saying something like 'that was end over end.' So it seems to me that sometimes they own up to bad green reading, and sometimes they own up to a bad stroke. And I trust the golfer to know, more than anybody else, whether they really did push or pull a putt.

@marudebaka6041
@marudebaka6041 13 күн бұрын
The term albatross in golf has been around since about 1929, but double eagle antedates that. When Gene Sarazen made a two on a par five at Augusta in 1935 the newspapers all reported it as a double eagle. Generally speaking, albatross has been more popular in the UK, and double eagle in the US, although more recently albatross has become popular in America, too. Bottom line is that Brad isn't making up a new term or just trolling. Double eagle has been around forever. When I was a kid, everybody called it a double eagle. I'm ok with either term.

That was so gutting to hear. He is finally getting back to form and then that happens. He is always the biggest wildcard. When he is on, he is just as good as anyone for a stretch.

Love the construction work beeping in the intros! And as his ball comes down someone drops a piece of material sounds like Steve hit the building 🤣

Well, it's for four rounds, so it's really only 7 shots per round. Seems about right to me.

I have a question - on the 17th hole when Brads bunker shot meant his ball rolled into his footprint, do the rules allow you to flatten your footprints with your foot before the ball gets back to you? Raking the bunker with your foot in essence - as long as you don’t touch the ball obviously?

HORSE LIPS swing is becoming the best in GG. He’s my underdog to be in the top 4 of the maniacs. That wasn’t much of a challenge when there was only 4 to begin with, but now with all the new maniacs I stand by my call 4 years ago. Are we going to mention the Irish Hotty? Good God, when Matt’s riding the wave in the “zone” his swing is super pure! Let’s go BOYS! We need to see more serious mixed with Good golf that’s fun. Video idea, editors and producers/CEO against the original 3 with Bibbie taking TIGGS spot. Brad can be called in for any team requesting a Pro Player whack. 5 “whakes” per side for the Sploosh team, 3 for the Founding Fathers!
