God, it's been decades since I've had to put up with Swordswoman. Back in the good old days of Duel Links when you couldn't go two feet without Weevil trying to shove Parasites into your decks and Swordswoman was a staple of annoying decks

*Amazoness Swords Woman* "Your opponent takes any battle damage you would have taken from battles involving this card instead." That's it. That's her whole effect. Bruh.

Reading cards is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

This is undeniable proof that Yu-Gi-Oh players are dedicated to the phrase #fuckreading.

The worst part is this isn't just a swordswoman thrown into the deck for lols. This is an Amazoness deck. He had Amazoness Onslaught activated. Even if the attack didn't kill, his monster got BANISHED. Not even destroyed, BANISHED. EVEN THOUGH IT WON THE BATTLE.

I was waiting for what the opponent had on their field, but as soon as I saw N62 activate its effect I was like "Okay so opponent has no response to this??" Literally opened my eyes all the way when the video panned to the Swordswoman. Individual has never played against amazoness all their life, even though that archetype is rather ancient.

Something I learned in 2005 about yugioh: Always start attacking with your lowest attack monster.

Even if I have taken 8 year of hiatus, I still wouldn't attack that one Amazoness monster

I was curious where this was going for a minute there, and then you panned down to reveal Amazoness Swordswoman, to which the most horrified “Oh no” erupted from deep inside of me. The amount of times that thing has haunted me in DL.

People seem so focused on getting their combos down, they don’t pay attention to what’s actually on the board. NGL, I’ve fallen for that trap more than once.

Honestly summoning Solflare dragon was the hugest misplay cus usually when you bring out 2 galaxy soldiers you usually use it to bring out Nova and then Infinity and Infinity would've grabbed that swordswoman

Yes, Amazoness Swordswomen is a beast, especially if you combo her with Amazoness Call with Amazoness Queen on board with extra Onslaught. *chef kiss As an Amazoness main this happens a lot to me in Master Duel. Opponents rarely read card descriptions that they cripple themselves.

To be fair, if I hadn't had first hand experience with that Amazoness, I wouldn't have known what it did.

When I saw what was about to happen I immediately just said to myself “ah fuck dude you screwed yourself” like he could have just attacked with another monster first and then attacked for game.

My favorite is dropping plasma or tapir on the field and the opponent just keeps playing monsters and wondering why effects don’t go off.

i'm actually keeping a tally called "Didn't Read Avramax". i'm legit at like 120ish so far. I add a point if they A. try to target it, or quit when they cant B. try to destroy it with an effect without reading masquerena C. go to battle phase then either attack it, or scoop when they realize they can't attack anything else.

Me, a Galaxy-Eyes player: He could've gone into the Rank 8 Cipher Dragon, then into Rank 9 Cipher Blade... Destroy the Trap with Cipher Blade's effect, attack with the Rank 4 and banish it, attack with the other cards, call it a day.
