The 1-mile stretch of beach can be accessed from any of the five parking areas along the gulf and the Boca Grande Pass. Search for new shells, sunbathe, go swimming or walk along the beach. Dolphins can often be seen playing in the beautiful blue-green waters of the gulf. You might even catch a glimpse of a manatee or sea turtle swimming offshore.

Hey there! Great video! You guys should check out North Captiva, no cars on the island! Half the island is private, restaurants, houses, and the rest is a state park…

Gasparilla island is definitely better than Sanibel. The beaches are outstanding and numerous. The town. Is beautiful and the fishing is excellent. Its the tarpon fishing capital of the world . nice video 👍

Ditto here, 12 straight February's spent on Sanibel. This place looks very nice too but there really is no other place just like Sanibel, trust me, we've tried. Very nice video though. Thank you for sharing!

Beautiful. But remote and hard to get to. Two hotels/motels on the whole island, and maybe eight restaurants and a grocery store the size of a large 7-11. Extremely quiet. And expensive. Be aware…

My mom’s family homes (untouched by hurricane) are on Captiva and Gasparilla and was just at Gasparilla last weekend which was JUST what I needed. I’m partial to Gasparilla myself and am looking to either buy or build there.

I grew up with a pool in South Florida and huge beautiful boats as well and needless to say, anyone who had either of those things in childhood would ever want either in adulthood since they’re rarely used and cost a ton of time and money just to maintain.
