My twin grandsons started driving in Feb.they now take their sister to school and pick her up.They take her to horseback riding 3 days a week .They get themselves to baseball,football, and wrestling,and to youth group at church. First day they drove to school,they all 3 were riding together to school,if I had of known thisI would have been so anxious, glad I didn't know,but I have been praying for safety,along with all my friends.

I can relate to the emotions of losing the first born to the freedom of independence. It makes us mom's sad, but the same time happy & proud. My oldest has been driving himself around for a while, but I still miss taking him somewhere. Have 3 more & my youngest is eager to get her driver's license, I'm not. The kid's don't understand why it effects us, but mom's know. Lol I almost cried right there with you. 😊

NC, such a beautiful state as your bordering state Virginia is. Born/Bred on a farm in, around Concord, Va. My beloved Neice, great grand nephew still own and live on the farm I was born on. Thank God. Hundreds of years involved there. I know Lawrence’s tie to his land/farm. Bless you sir.🎉

The ground is still cold, On Monday, March 22, the trees in DC were all bare. By Friday the Ides of March, the trees all had greed buds, like a Pointillist spring in Paris.

I remember when those kids were knee-high to a grass I can’t believe how much they have grown soon they leave the nest to new adventures but hopefully we’ll always come home often and visit and go trail rides I was pretty down when my kids flew the coop, but we always kept in contact and lots of Sunday dinners with my kids and grandchildren. Your channel reminds me of my youth living on an Arabian Horse Ranch and purebred Aberdeen black Angus cattle ranch in Oregon. This was in the late forties and fifties. Our horses were for bred for show as were the pick of the litter cattle. There was a show for the horses and another for the cattle. Our ranch always scored at the top or close every year. My brother and I got to stay at the venue which was big stuff for us in our early teens. I reminisce when I watch your channel. Thank you, you make a man long tooth happy.

I really love that your getting away from the corporate , government run BS and supporting local products made in the USA ! I believe we should invest in our communities and ourselves by sourcing better products that directly affect our community and society.. Less government control to gain freedoms back and less supporting countries that take our money for cheap throw away products . Making our country and society better starts right here in rural local areas..

An acquaintance told me of something when his kids were young. His son was about 8 and rode down the hand rail on his belly. His belt buckle left a nasty groove in the wood. He thought about it and said, instead of getting mad and spanking his son, he had a talk with him about it and told him that long after he left and had a family of his own, he would run his hand on that railing and remember his son at 8 years old.

We are trying to find made in America here in the Charlotte area but it is difficult. We buy from farmer’s markets when the season is in. Local crafts are a source for some things but we do get our services done by local community small businesses. I wish I knew where our food is coming from. We are seniors and gardening out, ‘farmers markets’ where to find meats is one of my issues. Local eggs are great, a little more expensive but worth it. Good luck on your ventures and I hope you get a lot of help with it.

If you happen to read this, that Himalayan pink salt, it does not have iodine in it which the body needs. Many talk about how good it is, but it’s actually not that good for you. They do not make an iodized pink salt. Good iodized sea salt is the best.
