Mombasa, Malindi, Lamu, Gedi, Zanzibar etc are all over 1500yrs old. As old as the swahili civilization.

When old town Mombasa, and Lamu develops in 2050 they will look better than Rome,Spain, Greece,Belgium, Portugal, Netherlands, and Uk, Germany, and the USA.

No spices brought by Europeans. Just arabs, indians and somalia. Most spices were grown in the horn of Africa and exported all over the world.
