About a year ago I brought one of those choppers and was cutting some cucumber for a salad a completely sliced the top of my finger. All because mine didn’t come with a cut proof glove so a lesson to you all if you get one of those WERE THE GLOVE PLEASE! Also if you are wondering I was fine it wasn’t Fatal it healed in about 2-3 weeks Stay safe 👍🏻

I got a pair of these gloves when I bought a knife sharpener. I used them when I was doing do angle grinding with a diamond cup. At one point the angle grinder skipped off the stone I was working and the diamond cup, spinning at well over 8000 rpm, hit my other hand. The glove sustained a cut through the fabric but all I got was a minor bruising. If that had been bare hand I would have had a serious gash and a trip to the ER. I changed my work practice to avoid the dangerous situation in the first place but I still wear these protective gloves when working with anything sharp.
