Gandalf looked at him from under long bushy eyebrows that stuck out further than the brim of his shady hat. "What do you mean?" he said. "Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not; or that you feel good this morning; or that it is a morning to be good on?" "Just get over here and help me carve some more foam we are running out of time!" Said Lachie and as he turned round and began to walk off muttered under his breath "bloody Wizards!" Absolutely loving the build and my favourite scene is all of it 😂

My favourite scene from the siege of Minas Tirith has to be the orcs attempting to rush the main gates with that piddly little battering ram. Climbing over piles of dead orcs to reach the gate as Gothmog sends more into their deaths is the peak of orcy tactics.

It made zero sense though. Grond was specifically created to breach that specific gate, because they knew long before the siege that an ordinary ram wouldn't work. I get that orcs love drowning the enemy in bodies, but when they consciously throw away their manpower for zero benefit it just makes them less threatening.

@@cass7448 I know exactly what you mean, the scene makes very little sense from a tactical point of view. I find the opposite though, for me seeing the bodies pile up as the commanders throw troops at the gate for zero benefit if anything makes them scarier. For me it reinforces their unlimited numbers and the suicidal willingness of the orcs to get at the people inside no mater the cost to themselves. Completely get how silly the scene is though!

Zorpazorp, I have to say that my favorite scene from the siege of Gondor is the one where the orcs are all chanting "Grond! Grond! Grond!", and it cuts to one orc who only knows how to chant with just his teeth. Prime cinema

My favorite scene is when the Rohan arrives and the horn is blown. Not only because it is so epic and it was one of my favorite scenes in the books too. But because it ends the scene the movies butchered completely: Gandalf vs. Witchking, where fro some how Gandalf's staff is broken and Gandalf is completely owned. The horn ends that horrific scene and we are back on tracks and can enjoy the movie!

My favorite scene is a bit before the siege but heavily related to it, when Pippin lights up the beacon and you see all the other beacons lightning one after another :D

My favorite scene of the siege is when the armored trolls are the first things through the gate and even Gandalf is like “Oh crap.” I mean they were many of them manning Grond after all. 😁

One of my favs scenes could be where the camara travels the street showing the brutality of orcs ravaging the city. The orc chewing the neck of a gondor soldier and the warg always made my day as a kid. The attention to detail is amazing and you could rewatch as many times as you like that you will always find something new to catch your eye.

Not sure if it counts as the siege itself but definitely when the riders of rohan show up! Especially with the speech given right before the charge, that and them all screaming death. Easily my favourite part of the siege and the movies in general.

My favorite scene is when Pippen finds his courage and Gandalf finally recognizes his value. Big turning point in Pippen's character growth. That and seeing Easterlings in the fight.

Favorite scene in the Gondor siege is when the trolls bust through the gate and star WRECKING the guard. The surprise of the trolls makes you really feel for the guard!! Great work keep it up!!

My favorite scene would have to be when Grond finally breaks the gate down. Not only does the timing of Gandalf's "...You will hold your ground" with the shock of seeing the trolls leading the charge lend a touch of dark humor to an intense scene, but you can also see the Easterlings in the background. It really drives home the idea of Sauron marshalling all forces of darkness under his banner, and it also gives the movie a chance to show off the design work that went into their armor and weapons. I recently stumbled upon some old metal kits from this game, and am actually in the middle of painting them up. I've been in a huge MESBG mood lately, and can't wait to see the final, massive project!

Love the bit in the extended edition where the orcs are having no luck getting through the gate and gothmogs enforcer says it's two strong and he just goes , " bring the wolf's head " badass line

My favourite scene from the siege is honestly the Scene where Gandalf and Pip talk about what comes after death. It's a soft, sombre scene that shows, at least to me, how fanning small flames of hope can inspire courage to face the impossible.

Mine is the suicide charge if that counts I love it because it shows their blind loyalty to denethor and their kingdom, and is the only part that actually shows the gondorian mindset and shows their proud kingdom and bloodlines

Lachie you're a Titan, this is just mind-blowing ! Proportion-wise, this whole project is very reminiscent of the cathedrals builders with the very flaming passion, patience, teachings and aesthetism ! One of my favorite parts in the Minas Tirith Siege is the last words of Théoden to Eowyn, and the grief of Eomer when he sees both lying on the ground. I think my favourite scene is when the rock almost hits gothmog but he moves at the last second. Ive always loved the reaction of the troll for some reason. I think it kind of shows that even the evil creatures like trolls have a more human and even child like side to them

It would have been nice to see them hold the line a bit longer here and there! Just a short section of the 'overrunning' scenes where the first orcs we see are pushed back, only for their numbers to win out in the end

My favorite scene is when the nazgul rips one of the trebuchets from the walls. It shows the superiority of flying and the hopelessness of the gondorians trying to defend the city without any help.

Been really enjoying watching this process and can't wait to see it completed. Favorite scene from the Battle of the Pelennor Fields/Siege of Gondor, is always when they bring up Grond. Hearing the chanting and the model Weta came up with is just so cool and ominous. Really enjoyed that moment in the book and the movie.

I don’t know if it’s technically apart of the siege, but I love the scene before where everyone has their gaze cast towards Mordor, knowing what will be coming the next day, I just love the moments before a battle :)

My favorite part of the siege of Gondor was the face off between Gandalf and The Witch King of Angmar when he says, “Do you not know death when you see it, old man?! This, is my POWER” as his sword ignites in flames. I was inspired to use that audio in a dubstep song I made and I also even have a sticker of the Witch King, as he is easily one of my favorite fantasy characters EVER!!!

No scene beats the moment the Harad arrive and the look on theodens face, followed by the most badass horn blow.

My favorite scene is were Gothmog just side steps the broken part of the city that was launched at him and spits on it. Thats just a chad move.

Hi Zorpozorp. My favorite scene from the Siege of Gondor is when the Witchking on his mighty fellbeast landed to fight Gandalf for all of two seconds before he fucked off to do better things, like getting shanked by a hobbit and a Rohirrim.
