Hi Jack. Get the £ notes cashed in. The new notes featuring King Charles are issued in June, and you may have issues changing them to $ afterwards. £60 = $75 at the moment!

While the notes will remain legal tender in the UK for a period, in my experience foreign banks & bureau de change will accept the old notes for a very short time after they are changed

Jack, I live in the UK and can confirm that the notes showing our late Queen Elizabeth will be in circulation and is still legal tender for years to come. The Royal Mint who produce the new notes showing the King will gradually introduce them to enter circulation and the old notes, when returned to the Royal Mint via banks, will then be withdrawn from circulation and destroyed. There is absolutely no need to rush or panic about cashing in what you have found.

I agree...it's been a bit rushed since Jack's heart attack. A lot of it seems to be because of facilities pressing him for time. Maybe playing catch up a bit as well and just getting back in the groove of his process. This toy collection is amazing and I'm glad he's able to share more of it at home.

Glean all the brand new. Then sort the empty boxes. Then match up. These are small boxes. You have the manpower with the girls to sort the whole lot. Maximize your profit. Make categories. There is a huge amount of new and sealed items that you can sort for immediate sale. Then you can play match up games. Then deal with all the miscellaneous.

The British banknotes are old-style paper ones, so aren’t legal tender any more - businesses stop taking them in 2022. Over the past few years we’ve transitioned to plastic notes, and the ones with the queen on are only being phased out slowly. You might struggle being able to exchange them in the US, but apparently they can still be deposited directly into bank accounts here.

I loved Trixie Belden, great series, read them all when I was young, now 65 yrs, I had them all but gave to my sister for her granddaughter, those are actually reprints, originals were hard cover.

The blue 10 bank note is Dutch guilders. Worth about 7 dollars, but you can only exchange them (and this goes for all bank notes from countries that went to the euro) in the country of origin now.

Link's Awakening is one of my favorites but idk if it's necessarily a grail amongst the Zelda community specifically as most chose to ignore its existence in the story universe. It's not seen as a true Zelda game and not canon as it's all just a dream Link is having after being shipwrecked. Because it's all a dream, no one classifies it as Zelda lore story-wise. But for game collectors in that sense it should hold decent value.

Quarters AFTER 1964 are NOT silver unless they are proof from San Francisco and no copper edge. U.S. quarters minted in or before 1964 are made of 90% silver. Additionally, some special edition and proof quarters minted after 1964 are also made of silver, such as those from the 50 State Quarters program,

Usually with Older Sealed Nintendo Gameboy games they would have a “T” Seal on the side of the game. Hopefully yours isn’t a reseal. 🤞🏼 Check your video @ 2:40 you’ll see the eBay listing with the “T” seal I’m talking about. Hopefully this helps & yours has the “T” seal.

Jack, the WISC-R is a test used by qualified individuals to test the intelligence of (mainly) school aged children. (I used to use it often as an Educational Diagnostician in the public schools.) However, the date on this one is 1971, so it would no longer be appropriate to use with children in 2024. The scores would be completely invalid. Somone might want it for a museum piece though😃...

I love those too, but there's never enough time devoted to the cost of stuff. And those folks are way too busy with customers for me to grouch about them not spending enough time filming for my satisfaction. Shame, and there aren't any flea markets less than an hour away from me (except the small one in my town every Saturday that only has vendors set up with commercial products, much of which comes from Mexico.)
