Blade of selves plus the new MDFC that prevents creatures without flying from blocking for the turn would be huge in this deck

this wouldnt work as per blade of selves rulings on scryfall "If the equipped creature is legendary, the tokens will all enter the battlefield. Then you'll choose one of them to remain on the battlefield. The others will be put into your graveyard. Any enters-the-battlefield or dies triggers of the tokens will work."

The extra combats have to be hard cast, as most require them to be cast during a main phase.

BTW love you channel and appreciate your video immensely, you are the only MTG person I follow on youtube. My issue with cruel claw would be filling my deck with big affordable creatures to justify or compete with other players. I was playing my desert deck yesterday, and thought that getting my 8 cost commander out turn 4 was a feat ( four lands in my graveyard lowered it's cost by 4) However two players had entire fields of creatures out by then and at least 6 mana. I couldn't stop it, because I need too many cards to get my deck going, and couldn't fill it with controls spells for the OP single cards they had that allowed them to build that fast in the beginning. This kind of thing burns me out on the game.

The bootherhood regalia equipment is gonna pair well with this or any evasive equipment, then pair feast and famine, fire and ice with aggravated assualt. Gonna be spicy

Cruelclaw with 98 lands and blight steel then hit on turn 2 to 3 and mill top of deck till you get buddy out lol and hope no counters 😅

I would suggest running a equipment. That allows you to draw a card whenever he deals combat damage to mitigate the discarding. Love your content been watching you for a very long time.Thank you for everything!

Yeah I was sort of expecting that. I feel like the deck would run out of gas too fast without that type of card draw. Mask of Memory // Rogues Gloves // Sword of Fire and Ice would be huge.

It's similar to Pantlaza from the Veloci-ramptor precon commander. I play Pantlaza and it's awesome, one of my better decks.

The Infamous Cruelclaw; One, Black and Red. No access to blue. Has to deal combat damage to a player, this is more difficult than you may think it is. "Exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card." This means every land you exile this way stays exiled. "You may cast that card by discarding a card rather than paying its mana cost." This means you have to run alot of "extra combat" cards from red and "Draw X cards lose X life" from black along with ideally high CMC spells. The fact The Infamous Cruelclaw has Menace will help get past a single blocker but sometimes your The Infamous Cruelclaw will just get removed before it deals that "combat damage." The Infamous Cruelclaw is balanced and if anything is underpowered. Casual might find some fun here but don't bring this to competitive.

weird that the cruelclaw doesn't have deathtouch. i mean, on the lore he has a poisoned rapier. on the art he has a poisoned rapier. whyyyy not menace and deathtouch? ,,_,,
