Very good video of the Thailand Beach. We enjoy seeing you both eating different foods. The best thing to use for sun burn is something with aloe in it. Aloe soothes and heals. I know we live by the beach in Florida.😊

Skin cancer can pop up from exposure without protection, especially on fair skinned folk. Use AFTER SUN exposure lotions also when you are healing from too much sun. 20 min max in the sun , when you are burnt like that it will hurt more in the heat even if you are in the shade. Get some pure aloe vera, it will cool down the skin. Make sure it dose not have alcohol in it. Stay cool , thanks for the tour

Ivan I know it sounds crazy but an elderly woman once told me to soak a paper towel with apple cider vinegar and lay it on your sunburn and your sunburn will tan and your skin won’t peel. It worked for me. The vinegar cools the burn and my skin didn’t peel.

You hear of the boat that caught fire about 2 or days ago over there? A ferry carrying nearly 100 tourists caught fire in Thailand early Thursday, forcing some of them to jump overboard in fear while others were saved by a rescue boat. The boat was on its way to the island of Koh Tao, a tourist hot spot known as "Death Island," when the fire broke out in the engine room of the vessel, which was packed with 97 tourists and 11 Burmese boat crew members. All 108 survived. Dramatic video shows the boat - which was loaded with cargo, at least two vehicles and several mopeds - on fire and becoming engulfed with smoke as terrified passengers flee to the upper floors wearing orange life jackets waiting to be rescued. Ivan, as a fair-skinned German I can tell you now that I am in my 70s you will regret not using sunscreen after receiving MOHS surgery and having many melanomas frozen on my body in the last ten years. Oh, it may take 10 or more years to appear. It most often happens in people in their 70s and 80s and I know you and Evelina want to live that long and longer...❤❤👍👍

Hi Ivan, you should checkout the idea of getting an international driver's license. I believe you can get it online. When I used to visit Honduras back in the late 1990's and 2000, I had an international driver's license I got through the American Automobile Association (AAA) when I was living in Orlando. Florida. I was told that almost all countries are required to accept international driver's licenses due to international treaty.

Sometimes getting sunburnt can be part of the experience of going on a summer holiday. In Australia the slogan is Slip, Slop, Slap. Slip on a shirt, Slop on some sunscreen, Slap on a hat. Even then it’s easy to get sunburnt. You need to apply sunscreen cream every 2 hours. We get lots of English and European tourists to the Gold Coast here in Australia. They can get terribly burnt if they aren’t careful. I’ve heard of some tourists ending up in hospital with severe sunburn and heat stroke.

Hey Ivan, Evalina and cats! All four of you look so relaxed and happy! Glad you finally got to the beach for some swim time. Looking beautiful, Evalina. Sunburn relief options: a) if you're still busy, apply aloe vera gel or sunburn relief gel with lidocaine; b) if you're done for the day, in the bath/shower, apply a paste of baking soda and cool water, allow to dry, then gently rinse off; or also at end of day, c) make a plastic bowl/spray bottle of vinegar and water and apply lightly in the shower, allow to sit a bit, then gently rinse off. Pat dry softly and moisturize. The next day, you will feel SO much better! Take it from a freckle-faced Irish-German blonde-redhead with blue eyes, you and I are not supposed to be in the sun very much, and global warming reminds us faster than usual. So great you and Evelina are sorted in a x free apartment great way to celebrate with time at the beach. Like you showing the food you eat too healthier than most. Cost less to eat out as well by the sound of things. In NZ food is expensive 12 eggs ,(at a cheeper supermarket) will cost you 209.73 Baht. I'm sure you will make some great progress on your goals and enjoy yourselves at the same time knowing you don't have to rush now.

The best thing to wear in that kind of weather is a Jimmy Buffet style light color button down collar short sleeve shirt and a wide brim straw beach hat. Also use face shield 70 SPF sun screen. I worked in construction and the pool maintenance business in the south west United States hot weather for 40 years and never had a problem. I also wear long corduroy pants in a light tan or beige color, they actually stay cooler than shorts.

Tropical sun is crazy. 30 minutes even in partly cloudy weather can be enough to burn.

Hey Ivan and Evalina! Thailand is closer to the equator so UV is much stronger. Use zinc and titanium dioxide, wear a hat and sunglasses. Use to get tanned and had melanoma skin cancer. You can still enjoy the sun. Remember you must apply sunscreen if you go swimming. Have fun! Keep on living Thailand. Thanks for the video!
