It has just occurred to me that "objectively" is the new "literally." It's a word that people use to mean the opposite of its dictionary definition, and, by doing so, have etymologically changed the definition so that the word is now an antonym of itself.

I have a challenge for Nilay and David. You should compare working in the Apple Vision Pro for one week then the following week swap and use Samsung DEX for a week and compare notes? Samsung DEX costs roughly start at $2500 if you use a fold.

It may be a developer kit, but as a developer kit the Vision Pro is a 10, however.

I think it’s unfair that David would want Nilay to rate Apple Vision Pro as a 6 and not 7, while David himself has rated the Meta Quest 3 a 7! Wouldn’t that mean that Apple Vision Pro is worse than Meta Quest 3? Even though Nilay keeps saying that this is the best version of this type of computer ever made?

Also regarding the Vision Pro, and it drives me nuts nobody says this - the display, while impressively high-res, is not high-res enough to fully resolve a 4K display's worth of detail, even if the display is so big it takes up your entire FoV. Clearly, as Nilay said, it's good *enough* not to matter, but IMO it's a little scummy for Apple to call it a 4K display.

I have no idea what he’s talking about when he says he’s calling the top on camera based pass through. In what world are tiny cameras, the best today they will ever be? This thing is the worst vision Apple will ever ship. They will only get better from here. That is how it has always gone. I don’t see why it would be any different now.

You can’t review this product. Until the software is out. Just on launch day they dropped 600 more apps. Your laptop is nothing without the software you can use.

Guys you are treating developers like they are a machine to make apps and have them available from day one. It takes time to get to know the new form factor and contemplate ideas. Get off your high horse.
