While I don't want to come across wrong, an empty filing cabinet is like max 50 kg, and that would be for a high quality one, which this doesn't appear to be. Pretty average feat for working people. I've seen people lift 50kg sacks of rice my whole life (live near a popular wholesale place)

I have several kinks in the cable of my Samsung EO-IG955 AKG Tuned Earphones, disintegrating adhesive around the ring of the 3.5mm jack, a tear in the rubber of one of the earbuds (also that same earbud is pretty beat up), and it still works just like the day I first used them...everyday, for 2 years, 1 week as of the posting of this comment. I've also tortured the 32 Ohm coaxial drivers with something like 100-200mW of bass while using them on vintage radios (which tend to have significantly more powerful amps compared to that of your smartphone), and they also still work fine without issue to this day.

I’m always so confused at how many people have their charger cable’s outer casing crack and break away, leaving the wires exposed. I somehow have the opposite problem, the wires inside get broken and disconnected, while the outer casing is totally fine. And this has happened to me multiple times with multiple charger cables and brands, I seriously don’t understand it.

Your problem is probably that you are pulling too hard on it or bending too much, as the outer casing is generally more stretchy, it can bend and stretch more than the copper inside, which easily breaks over time with mainly repeated bending. That's just a guess though.

i bought a pack of 10 charger cables for my phone back in 2019 for 15 bucks off amazon. literally all 10 of mine still work which has been a total shock for me as i usually have the same issues of tugging on em
