Makes me happy that nearly every lake in CA have higher water level makes my family happy. We camp every year and on the water almost every weekend during summer days. We all got into fishing this year (even having our own derby, thanks to you and your boys, I came up with that idea for my family.) Can’t wait to see what your fishing journey will be like this year. Still looking forward to en episode of the humble beginnings with the Dark Horse squad. 🙌 (that is the name right? LoL)

I fished clear lake a few days in April of 2022 and 2023 and I haven't had a single bite. Glad to see they're in there because I was convinced the lake held no fish 🤣

Can we get another WOOO HOOO 😜? Loved the underwater footage. When applicable, I hope you'll do more. Both you and Mr. Dutch had me chuckling 😆🤣at the end . . . Mr. Dutch fixin' to "play hooky" . . . "under the weather" enough to NOT go to work, but NOT "under the weather" enough to go fishing (hoping it isn't Covid related 🤞). Looking forward to Day 2 footage of this Clear Lake adventure and hoping Mr. Dutch does feel better.

Clear Lake? It's so polluted they recommend you do NOT eat the fish. And the stinch is horrible. I was told it was a 'resort area "? Broken down trailer's galore, tweakers and sadly disappointed. And this is recent?

Awesome video! I’m working at the hospital and got a chance to fish a few spot at the north end of the lake. Got a 4lb from shore near Lucerne two weeks ago and got a 2.3lb LMB from shore at Rodman Slough today.

Ok..literally 2:35 minutes into your video Greg and I’m already drawn in. Authentic, well done, professional and as always I’m sure the fishing will be on point. A Louisiana boy living in West Texas…I really miss the water. But life, God and work have me here surrounded by the best people I’ve ever met. We have been doing more eternal fishing these last 15 years, but man you take me back to the smells, sounds and feel of being back where there is water to fish. Be blessed. I learned from Gary Dobyns back in the 1990's, when the water is high on Clear, get to the hard shoreline to find the better fish...

It took me a while to get my clear lake skunk off the boat this year too. Awesome that you got your first on a popper, I havent gotten a topwater fish yet this year. Great video, so stoked the bite is finally turning on! Hope to see you out there sometime 🎣

I really look forward to these videos 🎣. Saturday I spent 6 hours San Pablo dam reservoir, not one bite and the frustration is so high. Very new to kayaking only have about 45 hours on the water, but damn the learning curve is so steep 😒. You think I would accidentally find a damn fish😣......
