In this No Limit Hold Em Poker VLOG I am playing Texas Hold Em at the Victoria Casino in London!
I usually play poker at Hustler Casino in Los Angeles. Hustler Casino is the home of the Hustler Live Stream where players like Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Garrett Adelstein, Alan Keating, Phil Hellmuth, Mariano, Rampage Poker, Nick Vertucci, Ryan Feldman, Ryusuke, Doug Polk, Nik Airball and Mr Beast have played. I am trying to gamble my way to a big chip stack and win lots of cash!

Why don't you push AK with the As in the second hand? You're the 4 bettor pre, you have the nut blocker and therefore all the AXss. Your opponent has to fold a hand like KQ in this spot and he has a very hard time calling with TT/99. He might not fold JJ but even if he calls you have a ton of outs.

@@relaxationmeditationsleep2934I think if we bet we want to be betting small here, it’s not really a shove spot with a high-ish SPR. It’s just a very good board for the straddle. He has all the sets/2p/straights that we don’t have. Shoving into a strong range with 1 card to come doesn’t feel that appealable.

@@garyblackwoodpoker I don't know the spr but everything below 2x pot is a shove for me in this spot. Might be dangerous vs calling station but vs someone who thinks a little bit. YOU are the only one who can have the nuts. But again, I don't know the effective stack size.

You’ve got the Vic (best choice) and Hippodrome (not as good imo) as your two options. 20 mins away from each other. Give them both a spin and see what you prefer! Re player profiles, honestly better to secure cash elsewhere and take it to the casino

@@garyblackwoodpoker I was just in london and played at the hip both times because my buddy was closer to it than the vic. Certainly not a large sample but the 1/2 and 1/3 seemed to be uber soft and the cap is good compared to american casinos ive been in. made around $2600 in 8 hours of play and the action was certainly heavy, usually straddles and some even playing like a 5/10 with 10bb opens at 1/3. you know london much better than myself as i've only played at the casinos here twice but if it's convenient I'd imagine it'll still be worth your while wherever you play

I honestly don't know I'm afraid regarding currency exchange. I think banks will do it for you. Vic in West London is my favourite place to play, good games, great dealers. Maybe see you there :)

If take a cab to Paddington station which is 10 min walk from the Vic casino there are a bunch of currency exchange kiosks on the main road. Most will offer close to true market rate with no commission and they’ll change tens of thousands no problem - best place in London for currency Ex.

No I meant that when I set up a withdrawal limit 10 years ago in this casino I stupidly set it to £1,000. Not a slight on this casino at all, it's my own fault. UKGC have some very strict rules over here.

If I'm not mistaken, there is a limit to the amount of money you can withdraw at a casino from the ATMs etc. to combat problem gambling.

I think the Vic is the best option tbh! Played in plenty of great games, like always they get a little harder the more you go up in stakes, but imo the Vic is the best out of the 3!

@@garyblackwoodpoker not necessarily hard games even at 2/5+ but it’s just general feeling, it’s just not very exciting to play there and there’s rarely anyone giving it away, the only ones who do end up playing PLO6 which destroys the NL ecosystem. The amount of times a great 2/5 game is ruined by a new table of PLO6 opening is ridiculous.
