When I was a child with very few toys to occupy me, I loved picking up fascinating stones! If I were on the beach with you two, the beach would be nearly bare, and my bag would be full to overflowing with many of those amazing bits! I love the enjoyment you two get from your searches. ❤

Also: if you can find a thumbler's vibratory tumbler, they're fantastic for beach rocks. At a glance they're sold out most places, but it'd be worth looking for one. I use two and they've been fantastic -- and fairly quick compared to the rolling ones. A bit noisier, though, so best to keep it in an area where the rumbling won't be a bother. The 10lb is great, but they have smaller, too.

Anyone willing to share the name of this beach? I am from Pennsylvania, but I too have a bucket list of beaches to beachcomb if I ever make it to England! I'd love to visit this one!

The ending where the sun was going down and was widening almost looked angelic 😮 Many beautiful agates and the bright orange. Jaspers, agates with patterns, and fossils were just stunning! My favorite is the sea glass! What a day for you both into the evening. I hope you make a lot of great things with all of your wonderful finds ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

Beach of dreams for sure...I love the ocean sounds and the crunch of the rocks....a perfect hunting beach, part sand, part stones....thank you for sharing... I spent many of my best spent hours along the river beaches and ocean doing just that. Fresh air, exceeded expectations, wonderful suprises. Everyone should be blessed with going to the beach, and allowing the day to unfold its suprises, and laugh. Best therapy ever....and you captured the beautiful day perfectly and shared your memory so we could all feel that....such a gift for people that cant go do that. Hugs always. Love you two girls.

Re the Brick , The Niddrie Brickworks, near Edinburgh, was a large common brickworks built in 1924 to supply bricks for house building by the Niddrie & Benhar Coal Co. It closed in 1991.

I love the carnelian and fossils, not to mention the agate and ceramic and sea glass. If you’re skipping stones you have to start tossing parallel to the water surface. You were on a bit of a slope Gail. The evening light and the driftwood were great. I saw so many things besides what I mentioned I wish I had been there. You both are so creative. I’m amazed.

I love to watch your videos !!! What a wonderful , blessed relationship you two have !!! I hope you do something special for your mom on Mother's day on this Sunday, Mother's day. !!! My mom died on Easter Sunday 2020 ar the age of 92. Our family are Christian's so I will see her soon in Heaven,whenever the Good Lord calls me to Heaven one day. I miss her. God Bless you both you do a great job, your videos are so good, so relaxing and so sweet !!!!

Beautiful light in this video! It really allowed the vibrant stones and seaglass to shine and glow. Red jasper is something I can find quite a lot of on my local beach in Atlantic Canada as well as some green jasper. Chert is also pretty common, mainly beige with a thin white outer layer. Lightning stones are less common. Carnelian is a very rare and exciting find though. None of it originates on our island composed only of sandstone and clay, so it washes in from the mainland or was used as ship ballast. Thanks so much for this great video!

What an intriguing beach..your photography is fabulous and those stone gems are wonderful! I have always been a beach rock picker since I was a child..its soo wonderful being with you on this trip!! My ancestors came from the north there..how I would love to walk that beach!

Yes, yes, yes you must get a tumbler… a small one to start… you would so love the way the stones shine like diamonds when polished. My husband is from Nova Scotia Canada. We are now retired and living in a Ontario but we travelled every summer to NS and always set a day aside to head to a beach called Scott’s Bay (nicknamed a rock hounds paradise) where we found so many beautiful rocks of all sizes. We got hooked and came home and purchased a tumbler and haven’t looked back. Tumbled rocked are truly beautiful. I have them everywhere all around our home is dishes and glass jars and saucers…. and always, always in my pockets!

I don't know one rock from the other but they are all so beautiful. I've only found one piece of sea glass in my life ( I live 10 hour drive to the nearest ocean and visit once a year), but that one piece I am so thrilled with.

I grew up at Va.Beach Va. and Beach combed all the time but never found Beautiful stones Like that it’s wonderful Gods little treasures they will make some beautiful Jewelry ❤❤

I'd end up lugging a lot of pebbles home from there 😂 I use the ones I find in succulent pots as decoration. I've also started collecting marked bricks, but those 18th century ones full of stones etc are special!
