Here we take a first look at the jansno x50 budget electric bike. This ebike is under $1000 but is it any good?
The ebike is full suspension, fat tire with a 48 volt 12.8AH battery matched with a bafang 750 watt geared hub motor. My favorite feature however is the integrated headlight, taillight, and turn signals.
I do wish the ebike had a larger battery and hydraulic disc brakes, but considering the cheap price I think this is a solid value.

That does look real good for that price. I would think for under ?$200, you could get a hydrolic brake set and if there's room, one could maybe add to the battery. I think all ebikes should have brake/turn signals and even rearview mirrors.

Thanks for review looks decent for someone's 1st e bike not bad at all . The only con is the battery but you can buy a good off brand with 17ah for around $400 and then your set . As far as the mechanical disc brakes , I've been riding with them on my Himiway Cruiser for 2 yrs. now without any problems . Yes they could have left off the turn signals and rear suspension for more battery but overall a cool looking bike .

Get some Meroca M4 hydraulics, have them on my mid drive Bafang BBSHD with an ASI BAC 855 and they work great!! Under $100

Nice review. I have a very similar display. If you push plus and minus you can get in to the settings and change it to miles per hour if that's easier for you. Also hit the "M" button and it will cycle between amps and voltage. It was kind of hard to see but it looks like it's rocking a Hailong 1-2 battery plate so ordering a different larger battery should be a no brainer. I just put a 52v battery on my bike and it makes all the difference.

@@ulrichkristensen4087 I paid $460 Canadian including shipping. It came with a really nice active cooling 3amp charger as well. It was through "Acepower" from Aliexpress. As far as the range it's hard to tell, it's at least as good as my 48v 15amp battery. It's basically winter still which kills the range. Also since I wired an unlocked display I'm going faster than the stock bike. With a 52v battery the sag is much less so there is a bit more torque and speed. Hills I used to go up 30km/h I'm now going up 34.5km/h. If my bike didn't have that integrated controller I would have swapped it out by now it's only a 15amp controller as it's a 480w bike with a peak of 720w on a 48v battery at nominal voltage. Now it's a theoretical 520w bike with a peak of 780w at nominal voltage. When fully charged and hitting max amps it's usually around the 55.4 volts which is 831w. So it's definately snappier.

I can't really do a proper range test as it's winter and I have the aerodynamics of the Michelin man with all the crap I have to wear just to survive going down the road but I did sort of a range test but it was cold(like 4C) so it's not that accurate but I got 42.9 km with around 36% battery left based on the voltage from a 15amp battery full throttle on a 500w motor and a 52 lbs bike which should be around the 58km range. I did a test in the summer with my 48v battery and got 62.5 km with about 3 km of weak power assist. I figure in the summer I should get a little more with the 52v battery even with the faster speed.

This frame is a good platform to upgrade to high power. QS205, molicel 72v battery pack, Sabvoton or VESC 75200. Easily 5000w capable

I like that the lights and turn signals are all there already, the seat looks great, and the review says the suspension is way more comfortable off road than you would think. 5000w sounds a little overkill, but I think you could add a 750w motor to the front and have a monster hill climber that could get to 35mph quickly, which would be perfect for this bike I think

My G-Force came with hydraulic brakes and I tore loose a brake line when trail riding! Mech brakes don't have that problem! And I had less than 100 miles!

Hi amazing video. Do you know where to get a replacement seat if you know the original seat rips? I been looking all over for replacement parts before purchasing. Like replacement parts for the turn signals, headlight, and seat. These don't seem to be universal parts but I could be wrong, please correct me! 😁

@@joeythegod4068Hey! Sorry for the late reply. So this ebike is upgradable with very common parts. The battery it comes with is a 48v 14ah Hailong battery and you can upgrade this to 52v with no problems as the controller can handle it. This will increase speed and range. This in my opinion is the easiest, best, and cheapest upgrade in my opinion.

🐍 Cable brakes have been stopping bikes fine since the Flintstones. Cable breaks are simple enough for a child to adjust them. I was adjusting mine when I was ten years old and it took me two years to wear them down enough to need adjustment. Hydraulic brakes are a luxury items. 🖖🤙

Looks like a decent bike! You could even upgrade the battery in the future (maybe 52v) to get some better range, top speed and less voltage sag. A 52v 22 Ah battery should fit no problem

That's a waste of their money to even put full suspension on that bike you can't get hardly any travel on a rear suspension in that design. I'm amazed this has turn signals I just added some on my bike and spent about as much as this entire bike to do it myself which was very complex to do. It was expensive also because I was going with motorcycle type lights as well some nice ones that's bright.

Yep. That geometry its just for giggles. Much better off with a suspension seat post... probably lol Yes integrating proper driving signals and lights are a pain if your bike doesn't already have the electrical circuits for tail and head.

@@lukex1256 Eahora Juliet II I have the first model it's a little slower then my other bike even though it's supposed to have a bigger motor, but I think it's limited by that 48v that second one cost more, but you get 52v. Me I did not care I just wanted the strong frame with a big battery this this huge I still have not tested full range yet on it with full charge as it's been to cold and I been to busy using to go to work. It's a bit short though I'm 5'7" but I also was looking for that so I could raise the seatpost quite a bit for a trailer hitch attachment but I was leaning forward more then I like so I got a riser for the steering column it's better now though could be even higher that that for full comfort. I also like the bike as unlike most like there no turn signals this has that a great front light as well. The breaks are heavy duty I don't even think these are standard ebike breaks they kind of in the middle of a ebike break and a full motor cycle breaks as they extremely thick and there stopping power is very good. To me it's a deal you can't beat for the price even if you go with the new model that has the better stuff on it. I only went Roth the cheaper one because I know I was going to change the motor and battery eventually anyhow I've already changed the motor just keeping the original battery at the moment as I would prefer non lithium battery I prefer a graphene one far more safe and x2 more capacity per cell over lithium.

Is there a higher price point bike that offers similar bang for buck? Like, for 1,000 bucks, this seems like a 10/10 value. Let's say you are getting $1400 of "value" for 1000. Is there a $1600 bike that gives $2000 of "value"?

U simply unplug a wire on this specific bike and will go easy 30 just throttle. Really think people are buying these bikes only to go 20mph peddle assist? 😂 I immediately bought a different controller for my ebike and instead of 20mph it's top speed is 33 just throttle.

this is NOT the best bike, I bought it and it was horrible to ride in traffic, 90lbs and with a 750W the bike was useless, going up a steep hill and it had no tourque. The bike is long it is stretched out, feels like riding a v-rod the turning steering arc is too wide. It is dangerous to ride in traffic. There are so many youtubers reviewing this bike and giving it rave reviews and it seems like they may be getting paid. Does not make sense that so many bike reviewers are going over this piece of sh1t of a bike.

We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. kzfaq.infoUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
