We've heard amazing things about it so tonight, we visited Ted Drewes, a renowned St. Louis ice cream store widely acclaimed as the best in the world. I ordered a regular-sized custard while others in the group got smaller sizes to try. We made sure to step aside to let other customers place their orders.
Tasting the frozen custard, I was blown away by how good it was. The flavors were incredibly rich and creamy. Everyone agreed it was far superior to other ice cream places, like Andy's Frozen Custard.
We captured some reactions on camera, including a close-up of someone really enjoying their treat. There was even a moment of surprise when one of us, who initially said they didn't like it, ended up finishing their portion.
The custard had a unique texture, reminiscent of Dairy Queen's Blizzard but with a more solid and rich consistency. It was slightly sour due to the custard base, which added to its distinct taste.
Overall, I gave it a solid 9 out of 10 and could see why it's hailed as the best in the country. I would definitely come back and try more flavors, though it would be tough to choose because I enjoyed my first pick so much. Visiting Ted Drewes has now become a must whenever I'm in St. Louis.
